OK, I've removed about three pages of posts.

Please do not use this thread to speculate about Oliver's private life – medical or otherwise.

Regardless of the veracity of your rumour, or what you know/have heard, if it's not public knowledge, just don't post it.

I don't want to turn this place into Demonland, but if you can't see the potential harm that this sort of rumour-spreading can cause (regardless of your intentions), then perhaps it's best if you take a bit of a break.

Thanks.

Would be beyond horrible to waste money and draft space on JUH not to mention if he likes his gear just gives ginger head another excuse to **** around.

Maybe if he was as good as Carey but he ain't even close.
To bring him into a precarious environment that is Melbourne would not further his development nor set him straight. He’d be best going somewhere that’s stable if he even wanted to leave.

Oliver is 27. He has crossed the halfway point of his career so his best bet is just to live and breathe footy, fitness and stability between now and 32. Finish his career with a good bank balance and 5-6 years of good output. At 27 you’ve got to have now worked it out, there isn’t any room for little boy moments of bad behaviour that get passed off as youthful naivety.

The Dees would steer clear of JUH I think. Especially if there are concerns Clarry and he were up to no good at times.
JUH will be off to the swans I reckon. They’ll have cash and picks with Warner going.
Plus they have Naughton and Darcy, be great to make all 3 work but he’d be better going to a club that needs a KF. What’s the bet Geelong enter conversations at year end and end up brokering some sort of standard Geelong deal that benefits them and disadvantages the other.

He is probably having coffee and a croissant with Andrew Mackie right now.

He could make a difference it depends how he plays, if he is long kick heavy he gets so much of the footy he's a detriment to the team, if he's winning contests and firing handballs to the outside which he used to be one of if not the best in the comp at he's a huge asset.

Maybe it's the coach who tells him to do that I don't know but he's not a good long kick and he's not an angle changer by foot. What he is is a brilliant 1-1 contested player on the ground and very creative at finding runners.

The amount of shit as 25+ disposal games he's had is too many to count I'm not at all interested in it from him. For me to get respect back for him I wanna see him chase down blokes like ANB did and win clearances that he doesn't just slam on his boot.
It’ll be fitness and directive. He needs to be fit enough to get to as many contests as possible to do as you say; win the ball and fire out handballs. Anyone telling him to kick 45 metres to a target has rocks in their bonce.

And yes, bring that tackling effort.

Time will tell.
