Re: Taylor Walker

I can guarentee, when he fills out you'll all be gobsmacked. Both parents are thick set(sorry Marg) and were very talented in their chosen sports.Taylor does have a long way to go,but his football skills are supreme & i'm sure he won't disappoint!;)
looking at the size of his neck you can see he is gonna be a big and powerful man.

J Brown in 2000, is a good example

Re: Taylor Walker

lol christ wasn't J. Brown like 18 or 19 years old in that picture? lol

Please somebody find a pic of Taylor Walker from yesterday, was his neck thick like Browns?

He must have worked out hardcore (3,4 days a week) in the last two months since he finished at Broken Hill.

Re: Taylor Walker

The best thing about this kid is that he is a Crows Supporter.

Absolutely.

As long as the guy can run all day it shouldnt matter a whole lot how fast he is, given the obvious footy smarts hes got. Lets just hope he not only puts on the kgs but runs his guts out during pre season to get that cardio-vascular fitness up. As he said its a complete difference to training 2 days a week in the country. Im sure that the whole of the AFC and its supporter base and the town of Broken Hill will be waiting to see how this guy turns out.

Re: Taylor Walker

Hate to be a spoilsport but Mattner was a crows supporter and even had season tickets....

Marty Mattner was an attacking wingman too.

Perhaps if we play Taylor at Full Back he might not like it.

And it pretty much killed him to leave, in tears i think he was, but opportunities probably wern't going to come at the crows and so he left and with the best of wishes from the club by the sounds, unlike a few others, if Walker is a walk up start to the AFC(excuse the pun ), he won't go anywhere.

Re: Taylor Walker

You would be surprised as he has played CHB against SA U/18 at Norwood oval and played very well on a kid called Lee Staples from Weagles in SA. has mainly played on ball CHB or CHF in the last two seasons of football. He has been travelling quite well at training and is not out of place with his ball skills but will take time to build up his aerobic capacity.Think he will surprise a few people with his ability and team play for a kid so young !

I think we all appreciate the inside updates mate. :thumbsu:

Keep 'em coming!!

Considering both his father and brother also wore 13 at Broken Hill apparently, Taylor would be very appreciative of Huddo :D
I believe #14 was the family number for the Walker's up in Broken Hill. That's what Taylor wore up there, but as I recall he wore #12 at the Championships.
