D_One19 keeps persisting and keeps getting owned.
You haven't played finals for 5 years yet you troll the Crows who are equal second.
You get 14,500 to a home game yet you troll the Crows Crowd numbers.
Sounds like you need a shovel there! So much fail...

I think the polynomial shows the real trend of the Camry Crows crowds. Limited by capacity in the 90s there is a slight increase in line with the opening of the Northern Stand followed by the obvious nosedive that every Camry Crows fan is so keen to deny.

Now everyone can see you are full of shit because if your 3rd order polynomial prediction is true then the crows crowd will plummet only because the numerical value of the year increases. So in the future the crows crowd will be negative infinity. Only in your wet dreams.

But if we happen to choose a 4th order polynomial the Crows crowds will increase to positive infinity as the value of the year increases.

I'm not trying to predict crowds in the future. I'm just demonstrating that you are full of shit with your graphs nd trends.

I think that has been done. But please keep posting.

The 3rd order polynomial trendline is not a prediction ... it is there to identify trends.

PS. Thanks for all those graphs showing the Camry Crows crowds have trended down in the last few years. ;)

As I said they only need you to exist. Prosper means playing finals and building a squad to contend a flag.

Look to the NBA to see the model the AFL is chasing. More teams means more TV rights money, but few of those teams are ever really going to win a Championship.

Existance is guranteed by the AFL and SANFL. The club/supporters needs to do the rest to make it prosper. That is what makes up the gap between us and you. As both clubs operate in the exact same environment in regards to the SANFL. Well kinda, you guys don't pay an annual distribution or Northern Grandstand payment. These two cost us $1.2m each year.
I don't think you can make that claim until we move into Adelaide Oval and our finances are completely different. With more money = a better chance to prosper. Agree of disagree?

Here's a stat.

AFL Premierships:

Port Adelaide: 1
Fremantle: Zero, zip, zilch, nada, SFA, nought, a big duck egg. :thumbsu:

Relevance to thread: Zero, zip, zilch, nada, SFA, nought, a big duck egg.

Exactly. Could also see Poort Power making history again next week playing the Hawks down at Launceston. The 165 is in grave danger I think... :D
Maybe if the Crows played them down in Tassie some records would be broken, after all they beat you by what, 10 goals this year? Top 4 pretenders

Of course.

But what makes you think moving to AO will mean more money? It is not certain.

Will the Stadium Deal be any different. Will our clubs be able to collect the match day revenues in a cleaner stadium and pay an annual rent, as they do in WA.

Plenty of clubs in Victoria play in front of sub 20k crowds in a CBD venue and lose money on those games. They make their money by selling games and playing against bigger drawing Vic clubs.

A pure location change from West Lakes to Adelaide Oval will not change much in the long term.

You will still need more people to attend games at AO. Once the novelty wears off, and if the club is still failing on field, what then? If you can not increase market share above the suggested 30% the move wont make any difference.

Nor will holding the licence.

Is it relevant to look at how your club was going just before the AFL saved it from going around the S-bend?

Code:
2000 Round 17 Venue: W.A.C.A. Date: 01-Jul-2000 Att: 10,826
Fremantle	4-5	6-5	9-8	12-10	82
Port Adelaide	1-1	1-8	3-12	8-16	64

Why is there a failmantle supporter in here?

Well in case you've forgotten, that 14,500 was actually Poort vs Fremantle which thus gives us a right to comment.

We drew 30k against you at Patersons and yet you only draw 14.5k. That's an indictment on poort

At a 20k stadium which is just of 50% of capacity compared to Poort filling up just 35% against Freo.

Meanwhile the AFL did nothing as we cleared our debt ourselves

20K hey???

I see that even at their lowest ebb, they were still able to comfortably account for Port. :thumbsu:

No doubt Lyin's boring football kept a few away.
