you may have been bored but i enjoyed it. thought we fashioned the best chances. kelechi strangely dithering when in the box and the difficult header at the start. really liked navas, garcia, fernando, maffeo and otamendi. really just hoping vinny gets through. heart skips a beat when he goes charging

Garcia brilliant. Maffeo fantastic too. Of the senior players, Navas has killed Shaw. Sane has been disappointing. Otamendi has done good things but half a dozen times too rash, and could have cost us.

Could go either way, but we're doing well.

2 fouls in the leadup to the goal. another bemusing mike dean effort. but clear from the start who this meant more to. happy for garcia and maffeo who were excellent, bar a couple of mistakes which is to be expected. maffeo keeping pace with mr dab a particular highlight.

Not blowing many bubbles tonight K4E. Explain yourself .

West Ham have a lot of morons in their fanbase, not surprised they kicked it on with Chelsea fans, a few of them aren't exactly modest individuals themselves.

At least it wasn't as bad as that anti-Semite stuff that occurred a few years ago against Tottenham.

Never good to lose a derby, and I'll never be happy going out of the league cup.

But there was a lot to like about the performance tonight. I thought Garcia was fantastic, and Maffeo too. Our best two on the night for me, and hopefully another nudge to Pep for more minutes in the league.

Slight worry that we're not creating a lot of chances, not sure if thats players down 9n form, or something else.

Remember a few years ago going 13 or 14 without a win under Keegan (I think). Not sure how I coped then because I'm ready for a win now.

And your thoughts on the clear foul by Otamendi on Pogba outside of the box which Mike Dean missed completely which easily if called could have been a red?

Maffeo was very good.
