The kid has some tricks, and it sounds like his head is in the right place. I heard he has been doing his own preseason training to ensure he can hit the ground running.

Pretty sure that is Maurice's grandson, you want to talk about old, I met Maurice after a game in the change rooms. Shook his hand and didn't wash it for a week.

Rioli has a super super high ceiling and could be an absolute gun. Clearly has the work ethic.

Daniel's Grandfather is actually Sebastian, who was the brother of Maurice
I know 2 of Maurice's Grandson's (one is about 14 the other is 11) as they both play for the same club as my son, in fact the younger one is in my son's team, I speak to Gavin Rioli every week when our boys are playing. In saying that the Rioli family are very close and they all support every Rioli who plays irrespective of which team they play for.

I'm actually happier ever minute about this.
Someone like Kennedy-Harris at Melbourne doesn't have the ceiling that Rioli has and isn't as quick, yet has been very dangerous at AFL level. We didn't have that kind of player, but we do now.

Couldn't be more happier getting a Rioli back at Tigerland.
Very happy. Have some faith the risk will be rewarded. But his efforts at the combine put a line through the word "risk"
