The beauty of Hurley as a backman is he can genuinely shut key forwards out of the game. This knack will only become more important as the season progresses, when players get tired and the defensive system starts to loosen a bit - having a guy who can actually beat the Clokes, Riewoldts, etc one on one will be invaluable. It's all about fitness for him.

The next 3 weeks are a big test. Pav, Riewoldt, Cloke. If he concedes 6 goals between the 3 I'd be stoked

Get a haircut

Is that guy still cutting off pony tails on the train? Maybe we can let Hurley's tyres down so he has to take public transport to training. One thing we know is he wouldn't be calling for a taxi. :p

Reckon that Hooker may get Riewoldt. Though they may rotate on Riewoldt.

Hurley to Reiwoldt, Hooker to Vickery I would think. Hurls has previously torn Reiwoldt a new one if memory serves...
We play St Kilda next week ;)

Back on topic...that ponytail really gives me the shits..real ####ing bad I tells ya.

Riewoldt's endless running was a bit much for Hurls the other night. Not that it should be a surprise in itself, Riewoldt runs more and is fitter than any forward I can remember.
