Welcome my dear friends and stalkers. This thread is a reflection on my time in the Bay.

Yes, it is true I have had many aliases over the journey, but so did Mick Foley. This is how people's champions operate

In this reflective piece, I will delve deep into the past of this great institution. You will get to learn how I stumbled into here, some of the great characters I have met and pwned along the way and explore some of the Bay's great threads.

We will look into some of the great rivalries that have existed and even dig up some of the great forgotten moments. Finally, we will take a deep look at the Bay's greatest year....2010

The Bay has had it fair share of greats over my time.

Some have stayed and some who were broken by this place have left to other failed sites like Kruzin.

Some started great threads, some were great at retorts, some blew up and some just unleashed hell with great trolling techniques

So here is my All Time Top 10 Bay posters. I haven't included my well known aliases like Dennis in this list. However, one or two others may have snuck in there

1) Floyd - Simply the best. Master of the sh00p, the video sh00p, the original thread and just plain funny. 5 stars

2) Costanza_- The Bruce Doull of the Bay. Rarely speaks, but unleashed a new way of thinking into the place. Go and find the thread where he hacked into the AFL computers.

3) Mr Rude / Ruderrection - Mr Consistent. Who will ever forget his ability to not finish threads, the Bay 13tionary, the bottom 50, etc

4) Cake - A real game changer. The Tier thread single handedly changed the way the game was played. Visionary. Steve Jobs of the net

5) HodgePodge - Mr stats. Never lost a debate

6) Ant_ - For a mod, actually delivered well over the years with his retorts and snide comments from the side

7) Quixote - The winner of the original Bay 13 Survivor. Only a champion can take home a title like that

8) Black Flag - The Bay's first convicted welcher. Not loved by many, nor respected by anyone. However, he made the start of 2010 memorable and allowed me to introduce the Bay 13 MRP

9) Axel - facepalm.gif

10) gopower - Takes shit year after year but still comes back for more. respect

Chapter 2 - The Thread that changed the World

I still remember the date. Aug 10 2010. more important than Sept 11 will ever be.

Prior to this date, the Bay was like it normally was. Full of some classic banter, intelligent threads about why Paul Kelly was over rated and a pea heart, and also accepting of the rare newbie beginner troll just making his way in life.

One of those newbies was a girl by the name of Cake. An alleged Norf supporter, Cake was actually doing an OK job of trolling the status quo.

Then she produced this:

Bay 13 - The Tier Thread

Armageddon was started.

964 posts later the Bay was changed forever. Ego made and ego's lost. Royalty proclaimed, the cure for cancer found and a social group of misfits not sure where to turn to next

Cake later lost a bet and removed herself from the Bay.

More powerful than Cyclone Yasi and gone before Eddie could say "What a big day in Football".

The next Chapter - FootyFail.com and the Terror Squad

It is true. I was once an administrator of Footy Lulz (FL). I was invited to be by Kruzin. It was love at first sight

Here was Kruzin. A bitter man, who couldn't get the sh00p love he required at Big Footy. Here was I (posting as Dennis at the time), who was at the top of his game. Rolling out thread after thread of pure gold. Surely between us, we could smash BitPoofy into the ground.

Firstly, I came up with a meme that we could spam bigfooty with.

footy lulzilla was born:

Although not by best creation, it had impact. We drew people in. We had the sh00p comps flying.

Then came the Terror Squad moment. "Let's create a secret forum that has a secret login that can only be accessed by invite. In here, we we plot ways to disrupt the flow of Bigfooty"

So we did. You had to click on a secret part of the FL header to get to teh login page. Then you had to know the password. It was kinds Maxwell Smart like. We invited some big players into the inner sanctum. Many still post and are Bigfooty Royalty

This was the terror squad that you have heard about.

It didn't last long as it was all a bit too hard

This was also the time that Kruzin decided that having more than one admin was cramping his style despite the fact I had put money in for prizes and built his brand. So I gracefully became a mod, then even resigned from that. Kruzin cracked the shits as I let a 16yr old access to "Fevs place" where all the pr0n was kept. Bad luck

So, finally, I got banned (well Dennis did). I took at shot at Gus for breaking the rules that were set up for the place. Kruzin didnt like that and that was it.
apart from some TLC stalker, I was nearly the first person banned from FL

I won't out the other terror squad members as that is up to them to do. Well, if I become a Bay 13 Mod (honourary), I may change my mind on that
