We do not, Darcy is injured probably Luke Jackson rucking solo

Sweet flogged Hickey and an under done Ladhams (despite the rubbish put out by the Club). Ladhams needs another couple of weeks in the twos before he could be promoted. Playing him on the concrete surface at Optus is a recipe for injury.

Pistol is ready to fire sayeth the grapevine. Hearing he’s very keen for a huge 2024 and prepared to do whatever it takes to make it happen. Fingers crossed for some upside in 2024.
There is this recurring joke in 'The Peanuts' comic strip where Lucy keeps assuring Charlie Brown that she wont move the ball when he is trying to kick it.

Never has a poster made such a quick name for themselves as you IMO. Such that I was eagerly reading the post waiting for the bit to happen and was left solemn that it didn’t come. Expert of setting up and then playing with expectations here.

The only thing quick about Pete is his temper.

It's between him and McLean/Amarty really, Grundy walk up start. McLean with some runs on the board, and can Ladhams play forward well enough? Interesting season for him coming up, but only himself to blame for having to come from a long way back.

McLean and Amartey on exposed form are both much better forwards than Ladhams (for that matter so is Buller). Amartey was chosen as the second or third tall despite his inability to run games out. IMO Ladhams will have to play a significant number of consecutive games in VFL where he:
Demonstrates disciplined leading patterns
Marks the ball
Kicks goals
Makes significant second efforts
Brings teammates into the game
Demonstrates some team spirit
McLean does all of these and Amartey tries hard to do them and often succeeds.
Ladhams plays like a giant-sized U12.
Can get away with it as the ruck, but not as a forward. Ask Grundy.

What's a U12? I even Googled it. Still perplexed. I know what you propably mean though.

You would think with the trading in of Grundy, the drafting of a ruckmen, He'd know that he's on his way to a 1 year contract extension at best.
Have you considered a career in motivational speaking? ;)

Not that I disagree with you. :p
