Not advocating this at all, I want to do to Essendon what the Doggies did to them a couple of weeks ago and if that happens I will still be booing in the last quarter, but worse case scenario and we do lose then:

The same Jackson Nelson we were talking about earlier in the season as delist material. Jackson Nelson who has never played a final before. He has overtaken a first round draft pick with 5 big finals appearances to his name, including the grand final.


And guess what, you honestly couldn't argue it. Which says plenty about where Duggan is at right now.




His fans will argue Nelson overtook Cole, and Duggan is being left out for Schofield. Which is correct. But the fact remains, Nelson is still playing, which tells me they have more confidence in him as a defender. Despite Duggan being a mainstay of our defense for the past few seasons.

Surely its related to fitness. A fit & in form Duggan is better than Nelson.

Duggan came back too early and glad they made the call to drop him. Nelson i think will have a key role and that will be to play on Tippa which none of Duggan or Cole would do a good job on.
