Matches up with what we know publicly, spends his spare time watching cuts and trying to learn more and more. And obviously very dedicated to his rehab if he's fully healed and in match condition 6 weeks ahead of the original time frame.Someone who would know said he was having the best pre-season that he had ever had and is one of the most professional footballers he has every seen.
They are genuinely excited about having him available leading into the back half of the year.

I'm so excited to see him, Weideman and a resting ruck in our forwardline at the same time. Those three plus Stringer and our small forwards could really take us to a finals win. This guy could make the second half of our year quite something, assuming his excellent form from last season year holds.
Once the ball hits the deck we'll be in strife if we're running Weid, Stringer, Wright, resting ruck and Langford. Opposition's will be walking it out.I'm so excited to see him, Weideman and a resting ruck in our forwardline at the same time. You would think so.Once the ball hits the deck we'll be in strife if we're running Weid, Stringer, Wright, resting ruck and Langford. Opposition's will be walking it out.
Yeah, with 2MP fit, Bryan and Flip will need to be content to play out the rest of the season in the VFL.
Forward Peter Wright is putting his best foot forward to be available for Essendon’s blockbuster round 13 clash with Carlton on Sunday.
The reigning Crichton medallist is looking to play his first game of 2023 after overcoming the shoulder injury which struck him down just days before round one.
General Manager of Performance Daniel McPherson says Wright’s participation in main sessions is pushing the 26-year-old closer to a return.
“Pete joined in main training last week and will do so again this week ahead of a potential return against the Blues,” McPherson said.
“Pete’s the ultimate professional, and has worked incredibly hard over the last few months to get himself back to this point. We’ll get through this week’s main training session, and make the final decision after that.”
