yeah i spose so. O well you blokes will be good with them to coaching next year. We need some good recruits now!!!

Clearly the blokes in the AIS/AFL squad that are eligible to get drafted next year will be in strong contention, as well as those who were in the squad last year but were ineligible. Here is a list of those players:

VIC METRO - T. Cotchin, S. Gaertner, A. Maric, L. Stanton, T. Vickery, D. Walker, P. Veszpremi, J. Grimes, M. Kreuzer, R. Normington.

VIC COUNTRY- L. Henderson, P. Dangerfield, B. McEvoy

W.A. - C. Garlett, C.Morton, N. Naitanui, T. Notte, C. Masten, D. Myers

S.A. - B. Ebert, T. McNamara, J. Wundke

QLD - J. Daye, B. Whitecross, S. Reid

Tas - A. Cornelius, T. Bellchambers

N.T. - M. Gugliotta, M. Motlop, C. Ryoli
Steve Gaertner is a one who is worth keeping an eye on he run 2.9 for 30m in the 16's camp at the AIS and has the best vertical and running leap of the group. He is 196 cm and very quick and a good kid.

addam maric will be a top 10 draft pick..possibly top 5..5 goals in first half of TAC grand final..a bag of 10 in home/away TAC season..and he's only 16 so he's got miles of growing/improvement etc..

Trent Cotchin another who will go top 10..16 and playing a key role for the knights this year..best in most of their finals games..gun player

Tim Bongetti is over 6 feet and can play either end of ground..good skills and was in top 15 goalkickers at TAC level

Going to be keen to see him next year. Got a few things to work on, but obviously came through the AIS academy but also got some senior footy in the Goulburn Valley League as well as Bushrangers this year which I reckon is a bonus to have that on the CV.

I know it's a long way off and hard to predict at the moment, but could someone give me a couple of names of lightning quick midfielders that will be in next years draft?

They usually go pretty high. But then again, you are a Hawk fan, so I suppose one sacrificing one more year to skim the cream of the draft crop won't hurt.

Typically looking to bait Hawk fans with an unrelated matter.

Players like Jetta, Collard and Armitage from this draft were the likes that I was referring to, but I suppose you wouldn't understand that given where your club finished this year and looks to finish next year as well.

Are Prismall and Millar likely to improve like Shaun Grigg and be picked up early next year? ;)

There are always a couple of players who were overlooked late and go onto be an early pick the next year. Jeremias shouldn't be worried about passing on a Prismall since we have a stack of players like him and Wayne Hughes knows what he's doing.

I like the sound of Rioli since there is no go home factor there and a player as quick as Djerrkurra would add a lot to our midfield and forwardline. Praying for Carlton to draft Hamish Hartlett in 2008 since we definitely need to draft a midfielder who possesses great footskills and can win the ball.
