Any 3 of those guys would be valuable to em

They kinda need another big and Pero is an 8-5 type guy per night everynight STILL, and they do kinda need a 2nd pure point guard after going with Cortez/Luke Martin atm.

Getty Images National Basketball League Chief Executive Officer Chuck Harmison has issued a statement concerning the status of both the Brisbane Bullets and Sydney Kings.

“Yesterday afternoon I met, at their request, the players of the Sydney Kings as well as former Kings captain Jason Smith. The League was informed at that meeting that all bar one of the players had failed to receive their monthly salaries on time from the club, which were due on 15 May. I have since asked those players to provide us with details of the outstanding monies owed. The League will now work with the Kings to see that all outstanding salary entitlements to their employees are paid promptly.”

“Previously, the Sydney Kings were also directed by the League office on 13 May to make in full a number of outstanding payments to former player Jason Smith which were brought to our attention by the NBL Players Association. At that time we made it clear that all monies owed to Smith needed to be paid in full by the Kings by close of business on 26 May, or the league would undertake default proceedings and could terminate the Kings licence.”

“As of this morning, the outstanding payments had not been transferred to Smith’s account however a payment has since been made by EFT. If that payment is for the full amount currently owed to Smith, then the Kings will have avoided the default process on that matter. If however the payment has not been made in full, the League will be left with no option but to undertake the default process which could ultimately result in the League terminating the Kings license unless the club’s responsibilities as an employer are met immediately.”

“The Sydney Kings owners are well aware of the seriousness of these issues and we have been working with them to come to a resolution. Having the license revoked is a last option, but it’s certainly not the path the Sydney Kings and the NBL want to take. The owners assure us that they are doing what they can to turn this around and keep the club alive.”

“The league was also informed yesterday afternoon that the sale to the new proposed ownership group headed by David Kemp unfortunately appears to have fallen through.”

“The League had never received for approval any documentation of the proposed transfer of the Bullets license from the existing ownership under Eddy Groves despite repeated requests, so effectively Eddy and the Bullets are back to square one in terms of finding themselves a new owner.”

“We will work closely with Eddy and the Bullets to try to identify an appropriate new ownership structure and remain hopeful that one can be found in time for the club to continue on. Clearly there was significant interest in the club when they undertook their initial process of identifying potential owners some months ago, so we hope that the Bullets can move forward despite this setback.”

“In terms of the various players who are contracted to both the Kings and the Bullets, I have clearly communicated to all our teams via email this morning that they remain contracted players until clubs are otherwise advised by the League and any club who enters into any form of discussion or dialogue with them or their agents at this stage will face significant fines for breaching our rules.”

Looks like the three musketeers from Sydney jumped at the right time in moving to the Dragons.

Wildcats should go after De Vries. His long distance shooting would spread the defense and give the big three space to work with. De Vries would be deadly in the triangle offense and other teams guards could double team as much.

the triangle is used in the nbl?
or are you saying he could be the lakers missing ingredient?

The Wildcats run the triangle offense but lack outside shooting. Just a side point is that the author of the triangle offense has stated that Phil Jackson's version is just one of many versions of the offense.

Anyway, having Hinson, Devries, Redhurst, Loughton, and Rogers would be dangerous offensively. Bring Robbins and Crawfords defense for the bench you have a well round squad.

what you consider the triangle offense is? All offenses will have triangles in them but that mean they the triangle offense eg three out 2 in passing game offense has a triangle and so does flex.

The games I saw last years Dragons, Tigers, New Zealand national team and nbl, Brisbane, Townsville, Adelaide and West Sydney never run the triangle offense only Perth did. Not sure about the teams but I seriously doubt that they did.

Tigers still run the shuffle cut but the not whole Auburn shuffle cut offense but they have modified it abit.

The triangle offence is simply a derivative of a motion offence.

Instead of running a 5 out motion offence or even a 4 out (one post) teams run the triangle offensive to give a different perspective and this allows them to create space and movement for 3 different post players.

Like most motion offense you need to have good spacing and movement for it to be effective. The triangle offence is not an NBA or even Phil Jackson thing – it’s a motion offence.
