He has kind of just come out of nowhere to be one of the most talented key forwards in this year's draft. Was just playing club footy earlier in the year after being cut from Sandy's squad last year.

Dominated the under 19's comp, before kicking 7 goals in a school game where Jarrod Molloy was watching. The next week he was playing for Sandy.

He is eligible for this year's draft, is finishing year 12 this year. At the moment he has been nominated for the state screening but it wouldn't surprise me if his growing reputation earns him a gig at the draft camp.

Jump on...

Yeah he's finishing year 12 at a prestigious private school i hear, so obviously education has been a main priority for him.

Anyone know anything about Killian for S.A?

Had a knee reco if I can remember and was touted as the next big thing to come out of S.A.

Big ruckman, moves nicely. I hear the South Australians are trying to hide him from us though ;)

couple of points:
Mitch brown is good but not as good as what ppl are talking him up to be. i would say having played with vickey that he is almost the best tall marking foward in the draft. Secondly anyone herd about the chances of oakleigh chargers player josh scipione?

Hey underworld a little bit of jealousy from an ex team mate?

Chris Hall – 179cm, 65kg – Woodville / West Torrens.

Luke Shuey – 185cm, 81kg – Oakleigh Chargers/Marcellin College.
Midfielder/small forward with pretty good pace and ok skills. Did not really dominate during the champs but did his bit when it was his turn to play in the middle. Seems to be pretty good around the stoppages and a pretty good reader of the game. Gets good numbers most weeks in the TAC Cup when school footy commitments have allowed him to play.
I would think he will end up in the mix somewhere mix third round and onwards.

didn't dominate during the champs, but managed to win the vic metro best and fairest...

Ayce cordy ruckman/forward
f/s for the bulldogs
what can you guys tell me of him because of all reports he is a decent player

Rob Scantlebury from Subiaco Colts won F & B tied with Cody Enders Scantlebury also picked up Past Players Best and Womens Forum best for July. Past Players who voted for him included Laurie Keene, Peter Wilson and Todd Bemenan all ex Eagles players to name a few. Has been touted as roughie posible rookie list, ave over 30 possessions a game in the midfield has run in mid 15"s for beep test, from the same junior club as Dan Rich, boy has some class. Kid who gets on with the game does not get much attention, believed was heavily tagged in the later part of the season. Did see a few games and kid goes alright.

I don't know anything about Simon Collis, so I'll let others field that one.

Blair and Priest are not "around the 180cm mark." They're both 172cm. Blair plays as a traditional rover. He's a good, tough sort of player, but the game has passed those types by. How many short, stocky rovers are in the AFL these days?

Priest isn't eligible this year, but he's a bit of a different sort. He's got a bit of pace and some good evasive skills. He still has plenty to work on next year, but he has some draftable qualities.

Brilliant read,
I think it will be interesting to see if Mangan gets picked up.
Apparently Collingwood has already spoken to him.
Any more info on that?

Mitchell Brown is a quality player, as seen in games for both Mentone Grammar and for the Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup competition. He was picked up by Sandy late in the year after impressing in Mentone Grammar games and has since made his mark. His brother Darcy, 2 years younger, is also shaping up to be a quality footballer. Darcy was extremely small for his age but has since grown considerably. Though still small he should continue to grow and end up quite tall.

Well done mate I havent kept as close eye on the draft this year as usual but it seems there are alot of very small kids in contention.

Also dont know if Im sold on the strength of the draft what are your thoughts?

would love to draft jarryd blair late.

Do you think he would ever become a brett kirk like player if he got bigger over the preseason.
