When Brian was born his Mum and Dad were not married, and they wrote his mother's last name on the birth certificate(Harris). When he was about 8 or 9 his parents got married and he had the chance to change his name to his fathers then but for some reason they didn't.

Anyway, about 3 months ago Brian had a child of his own and he wanted the kid to have his fathers name(Lake). So it was easier for him to just change his name to Lake as well.

(Brian Lake won the bulldogs b&f last year, and i'm still astounded how many people haven't picked up the name change thing yet. It made hardly a ripple on bigfooty. Had another b&f winner from another club changed there name it would have been back page news and a 40 page thread on bigfooty)

Yeah i thought it was Harris, interesting.

I wonder how the commentators will adapt. And i wonder what puns cometti will come up with.

Scott Thompson from CTR/FWD to CTR
Adcock from BAC to CTR
Carrazzo from BAC to CTR
Gary Ablett junior from CTR/FWD to CTR
Mackie from CTR to BAC
Dew from CTR/FWD to FWD
Sinclair from BAC to MID
Deledio from CTR to Utility, which most likely means CTR/FWD

All changes have been made to the Fanplanner. I'm going to try to get a copy myself today to finalise all the positions. Some bad news in that lot, but a bit of good!

Sorry if this has been asked somewhere else but if Sinclair is now a MID instead of Back why has the 'Mr Fantasy' in the Season 2008 Magazine got him in his team as a back?

1) This thread being pushed to the second page is a disgrace. It really should be stickied for it's helpfulness in regards to DT/SC team-making.

2) m0nty is a genius, and should be knighted for services provided to the (BigFooty) community.

3) Sinclair no longer being named as a back is no real loss, get on Shaw/Fisher/Malceski instead.

Fair's fair guys! Fanfooty is an exceptional resource - Full credit to Monty & co.

Most have little idea of what's involved in putting something like that together, let alone the drive to do it themselves. As one of the few that could, let me tell you it's not easy, and with limited resources (time/money) there are always going to be hiccups.

So, take it for what it is and appreciate what's gone into it - you're not being asked to pay.

ive just gone through all the prices and total salary cap on fan footy compared to last year
eg bartel at 490k and k cornes similar?
is this correct?
and is it correct that the salary cap will remain the same (if not lower) compared to last year?
because from memory no one was anywhere near 400k at teh start of lsat year

The prices are correct. They will go up an average of 10% on last year. The salary cap will go up by about 7% to $7,431,000.
 
Hey Monty. I created a team during the week, however I've logged in again today and I cannot find it anywhere... Does your fanplanner feature actually save the team anywhere?
