Personally, I think there is too much white.

Really liked that strip, wish we used it as a permanent clash guarnsey, or away strip. Not bad although this still remains the best. It just made the players look bigger and stronger. Designs like that above tend to make the players look more like basketballers.
.
Nope, the traditional brown and gold stripes forever. I don't mind the club playing around for merchandise sales, it makes a lot of money. But when it comes to home and away, the old stripes makes my blood tingle. So much tradition is attached to it.
I know where Eddie the blacksmith at Pieland is coming from on this issue.
I was talking to a few of the boys in Hobart today
and they said it was only a clash jumper not for the NAB cup

I agree, it needs more gold on the front like that. That one looks mad.Personally, I think there is too much white.

PIN-UP boy Buddy Franklin showed off Hawthorn’s new clash guernsey during the club’s AFL Telstra Community Camp in Hobart, Tasmania on Tuesday.
The design, by apparel sponsor Puma incorporates the bold new Hawks logo and will be worn in selected games of the NAB Cup and against West Coast in round 21 of the home-and-away season.
The new look - with its ‘swoop’ back – is more body-hugging and reportedly more comfortable to wear than the traditional-fit jumper.
Hawthorn players have worn alternate jumpers during previous pre-season competition campaigns and for AFL heritage rounds, however, it is the first time the club has an official clash jumper.

One game of the home and away season. I thought they would wear it 2 or 3 times.

How about this without the big hawk (why do all modern jumpers require big logos plastered on the front?). Add a brown stripe down the front and a gold stripe down the back and it could be a contemporary redesign of the home strip. I might attempt a photoshop on the weekend
The 'white' design is a bit like a training jumper. Just like all those other clubs who did white jumpers with a club logo at the front. Its been overdone.
Hi all, long time reader, first time poster.
I personally like the jumper.
I am surprised however that its just being worn the once in the regular season though - on a dark, wet day I find that our 'clash' with Richmond can get a bit annoying. I'm all for a bit of white to break it up a bit.
