2008 Premiership: Tainted

I've been watching the DVD. And I've figured it out. How can Hawthorn, my own team, claim that they earnt this premiership when Geelong were so clearly jinxed by the commentators??

examples include:
Brad Ottens, second quarter, running into goal. Commentator: 'and he finishes well...' MISS
Mooney, early third quarter, directly in front. Commentator: 'Mooney's been in good form...' MISS

I think its pretty clear guys. We don't deserve this premiership.

Hey, everyone knows Hawthorn wasnt the best team for the year, only on the DAY. (**** sake, they lost to Richmond)

What I find amusing is that we are still equal premiership favourites for 2009 with those Hollow Victors. After we beat Port, we were favourites the following year. This shows that the majority believe that Hawthorns win was a fluke!

Premierships haven't been won in the Home and Away season for 148 years. If things had been working like that all this time, your club probably wouldn't be nearly such a disgrace! Why don't you make living easier on yourself and put a * signifying that on your emblem.

I was at work and didnt realise how many people suported Hawthorn!, till after the GF.
