I don't want to upset hawk fans I haven't been on here for years but still love the hawks.. this is just an observation.

somehow deep down i truly believe we are missing a character and a tough player like Crawford did we win it in o8 just for him,...?

When i was at the end of the game today watching it from afar and thinking back to 08 and how special it truly was I realised what true miracle that game was... I hat ethe fact geelong never forgot they got truly angry.. maybe that will happen to hawthorn and they will beat sydney for years to come... I am so glad i attended that grannie in 08.. how lucky and truly special it was..

hey i know its been and gone but it does make you truly value what you once had... I've lost alot over the last four years and learnt some tough lessons way too tough...the hawks just seemed casual...

I just hope somebody gets through to players who don't kick straight and seem to casual

you don't get the chance often and you may never get a chance again.. the 08 team knew and valued that... I truly don't think the guys "got it" today...
I look at sydney and didn't think they were a great team... they just seemed to want it more..

but after four years WHY didn't we want it more????

The Cats fans think everything's about Geelong. According to that idiot, we didn't enjoy winning the 2008 flag, we just enjoyed beating Geelong. If that's not the height of arrogance, I don't know what is.

Geelong supporters are without doubt the most arrogant tossers in football, bar none.
