Northcote park have picked up to young guns fresh out of tac cup calder cannons flag team. shannon young and daniel buckley both from fitzroy jfl and both invited to vfl clubs. but seems they r playing local if they play 19s and not seniors the flags theres for sure
I wouldn't have thought they would be playing 19's at a club like Northcote Park.

bundoora will shit the 19's in this year. only 4 players went up to seniors and have picked up sum very good young players
Thats what bundoora have said the past 3 years in the 19s and havent won shit..
i think greensborough will be the team to beat from what ive heard from all accounts, although west preston should be favourites although i was told from a bloke down there that most of them will probably be playing 2s this year? can anyone clarify this.
also, if eltham keep all there top age, the blokes who are turnin 20 this year, they will be hard to beat. hoepfully its more competitive then last year.
Can confirm that because wests seniors will be a strong side this year there will be no need to pull players from u19s up to play 1sts, and i have heard at west that its you either play u19s or ones you dont play reserves. West have almost 90% of the grand final side from last year and have scooped up a few players from around the area and of course there top aged u17s hoo were shire of a premiership last year. Bundoora and Greensborough will be tough to beat seeing as they will post 2 sides which will give them a large group to choose form. In my opinion in no particular order:
Greensy, West, Bundy and Eltham to fight it out once again for the flag, can't see many teams getting close to knocking either sides out of the 4 this year. Thoughts?
i disagree. i dont believe eltham will be top 4 this year. they may just be 4th but wont pose any pressure. too many players are now in eligable and the ones who are top age are going to get pressured to play seconds. greensy or west for me
will be interesting to see if the third year players do get pressured to play 2s at eltham, simply because ive heard jarram has the reserves coaching role now and he was assistant i think for the past two years with the under 19 team, is this true panthers? also how many players could play 19s but could end up in the seconds?
gday, just wanting to know the standard of this league as compared to the goulburn valley football league, there is 3 quality players lookin for a club and decent footy, and whats the cut off date for U/19's. All the boys made the GVFL thirds team and played seniors thourghout the year
