I couldn't help myself, I had to look at the score on my phone while I was at work. Not a good first up result at the new iceblock but I'm just watching the game now and how close was Martin to starting things off well early on, clanged it off the pipe.

Oh well, onwards and upwards.

I had one of those bittersweet moments when I saw Briere had scored the first goal as he is on one of my fantasy teams. Oh well.

Also just a side note regarding GCL... this season you can stream up to 3000kpbs. Was watching parts of the Avs/Hawks and Flyers/Pens game during my lecture this morning on the 27inch iMacs and the parts of the Oilers/Flames game at home on my 24inch iMac and the picture was as good as Fox Sports in standard def, really impressive. Will suss out the PS3 quality tomorrow.

Reminds me of the Spezza, Alfredsson and Heatley line. The reason that Ottawa got into the SCF a few years back and also the reason they lost it.

Yep, spot on Brades. Cash was an acronym of Captain Alfredsson Spezza Heatley. The Pizza line was another name, because whenever the Sens scored five goals, everyone would get free pizza!

On HF they're saying the docs looked pretty calm and the defib on the ice wasn't unpacked, so that's something.
