Anyway, much rather have Sam play Schiavonie at her 'peak' than Dementieva.

I wouldn't say in the bag Pepsi. Schiavone will have had a less draining match (although the set did last 69 minutes) and will be able to rest up quicker. Her style suits the clay well- a very good grinder. However I do think whoever wins out of Jankovic/Stosur will be favourites.

4-1 lead, set over if she can get another break here.

Sam is on fire at the moment, just has to maintain that level and she will win this.

Jankovic will fight though.

Good start, Jankovic putting the ball into the backhand corner, but Stosur is responding with the backhand so far. Oh and she has served very well to start the match.

Jankovic is rushing her shots a bit and hasn't settled into the match yet.

Coming through multiple high pressure situations to beat Serena Williams looks to have done the job for her confidence. She's not simply playing solid while her opponent battles the yips as she did against Serena, she is utterly dictating here.
