Lovely. Just ****en lovely.

We do have depth at that position though, plus I think Hurley is more natural as a defender than a forward. Hopefully Neagle or Laycock take the opportunity up forward now.

Obviously this is terrible news for Tayte, and I hope he gets back soon.

But I'm not going to take this as the worst news I've heard. After yesterday I've written off this season and any sort of finals chance, so losing Pears isn't changing anything on that front. Maybe this gives us a chance to look at the likes of Daniher, Still, Slattery? :thumbsu:

Glad I'm heading to Europe in the middle of the year and will miss the rest of the season... it's going to be a shocker.

Surely nothing else could go wrong? One of the few players we can least afford to lose and he is only 19... saying a lot there.

Oh well, looks like it's only a development year anyhow, get some games into the kids.
It will do wonders for our depth in the long run.

FB: Fletch/Hooker
HB: Ryder
Ruck: Laycock and Hille
HF: Gumbleton
FF: Hurley

We still have Daniher, Still and Neagle
Makes you realize how good our KPP's are.

But with no Midfielders and coach what can you do?

Very disappointing to see this guy out - i think he is a superstar - and would have putting his name up for AA this year.

The only silver lining is that i hope this means Hurley goes back to CHB - where i think he is much better suited and can dominate the game for a decade to some.

makes it easier to get in 5-6changes.. which means opportunities for more players...not that we really want pears or reimers out!
