We do have depth at that position though, plus I think Hurley is more natural as a defender than a forward. Hopefully Neagle or Laycock take the opportunity up forward now.

Obviously this is terrible news for Tayte, and I hope he gets back soon.

But I'm not going to take this as the worst news I've heard. After yesterday I've written off this season and any sort of finals chance, so losing Pears isn't changing anything on that front. Maybe this gives us a chance to look at the likes of Daniher, Still, Slattery?

Glad I'm heading to Europe in the middle of the year and will miss the rest of the season... it's going to be a shocker.

Very disappointing to see this guy out - i think he is a superstar - and would have putting his name up for AA this year.

The only silver lining is that i hope this means Hurley goes back to CHB - where i think he is much better suited and can dominate the game for a decade to some.
