Why dont you want to play seniors? would you rather ease your way through the reserves? Sunshine Heights would welcome you down, do a pre season and see where that takes you.... private message me if you want some more details.

Evodafalcon,

As an outsider who likes to read big footy and rarely posts, I just wanted to commend you on the way you are going about trying to build a club up and develop your club in a really positive and inspiring manner. Your enthusiasm and approach from as I said outside is fantastic. Well done and keep it up. Best wishes in 2010.

Hey Everchanging, I'm from Parkside but 100% agree with Evo. I think he and others have done a great job at the Vales improving club culture and on field. It would be a shame the club to loose it's u18's.

Stay with your club and have a crack at senior footy. If the Vales don't improve then you'll have a great chance at being a senior player in a key position. If the Vales continue to improve and become a top 5 club then you will be part of an exciting new phase...... if all fails then Parkside like many other clubs have a good junior program (sorry Evo haha)

yeh i guess you have a point there from what ive see so far vales have gotten alot better i think thats its a good idea to stay see what happens anyways thanks pplz for the advice

your kidding arnt you callan parkside have 3 junior teams which are 18bs no finals, 16cs which are merged with 2 other teams and 12bs no finals. parkside dont have any u10s or u14s. what if my sons where 10 and 14 yrs old , i think il take my kids to altona, hoppers, spotty , willy and to the edfl were they have teams in all grades and teams in a grade not just c grade. yer sounds like a good junior program down there.

Good choice mate, you wont regret it. Good luck in the finals

Yeah everchanging - if you stay you will definitley get a game too.

Even Craig Thompson gets a game down there. He is the skinny bloke with the massive arse.

i honestly do not understand what you stand to gain by continually potting the club.

if you are a former player which i am 99% certain you are then why dont you come down and get involved and try to get the club to where it once was rather than thrashing the blokes who are doing it some good.

sure parkside do not have the same sort of juniors that altona, hoppers, or spotty have but they're area doesnt have the same demographic either.

if you are from the club why dont you reply to this one post and explain yourself or just stop posting completely.

Guys i know this is player movement, but how about player and club. Interesting chat with a player from heights who tells me the club will most likely ask to go back to 2nd divvy next season (as it doesnt forsee a successfull future in A grade if it is to start paying big money for players) which would also see it pick up quiet a few parkside players if they are to be promoted. Would this mean West stay up or the 2 G/F teams both go up? Gets interesting doesn't it?

mate i have no idea who u were speaking to, but they couldnt be more wrong. Heights will stay up 100% and are looking at improving on their promising first year in div 1.

Right up there for SILLIEST post of the year!!

Not sure if someone is feeding you this as a joke or you are making it up just to stir things up, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Not only are we staying in Div 1 but planning for 2010 has been underway for some time.

When was the last time you went past ainsworth reserve. I think you will find as much grass on that ground as any other in the league.

Are you sure you are not colour blind. When was the last time you went past ainsworth reserve. I think you will find as much grass on that ground as any other in the league.

Most grounds do look green from the road bud, but very patchy when walking across it. You are right in that majority are similar though.
