Again red bulls pit stop stategy doesn't effect Vettel but Webber loses postion.
I await all the apoligists to ark up as they do each time with an excuse but statisticly it is getting beyond reasonable doubt.

Webber was stuck behind traffic that were on wet tyres. Button was closing in fast on intermediates, on a drying track, lapping faster even than the leaders. Vettel was leading, but doesn't have enough of a gap to do a pitstop and clear the traffic that Webber was stuck in at the time. What, then, should Red Bull have done?

Yes, in hindsight, there was the rain, and Button, along with those on intermediates, had to pit again. Without the benefit of hindsight, Red Bull would be potentially risking Webber's position if Button passes him with a pit stop in hand.

We must be watching a different race.

We must be watching a different race.

The whole idea of pitting Webber was that he would have been 3rd of those who had pitted and in front of the safety car, but due to the red flag all those ahead are allowed to change their tyres without having to lose time by pitting. Not much Red Bull could do about that.

It hasn't been 'waived', red flag time is added on to the 2hr limit
(effectively the 2 hour limit pauses during the red flag period)

The rain as stopped and the engines are starting. We'll go racing within the next half hour I think. Thank god it's a public holiday and I don't have any exams this week.

ONE should pump in the ads so we can have a 45 lap ad free race. :)

What sort of nutters sit around for an hour and a half, looking at birds. at ridiculous o'clock in the morning just to watch some cars drive around a track?
It's a bit ridiculous if you think about it.

P.s. I'm also hoping for a Kobayashi banzai move which takes out Vettel, as I requested Alonso do earlier PUNT HIM OFF!!!

Rain starting to come back. Should pass by soon though if you look at the radar.
