I don't want to give up Gumbleton even though he is so injury prone, he has some serious pair of hands... if he comes good injury wise he will be the steal of the century.

Mitch Morton has gone to Sydney. Good for him.

I wonder is that piece of **** Greg Denham will maintain the range against Mitch with Mitch now being quite a way out of view.

I wouldn't be surprised if Greg relocated up there just to be close to Mitch. I swear Denham is in love with Morton or Morton had sex with Denham's wife or daughter or something...his desire to bad mouth Mitch Morton out of all context while on Hungry for Sport drove me to distraction.

I sincerely hope Caddy is worth it...

I hope he's worth it as well.

Gumbleton I'm not fussed about, although it would be funny if he suddenly came on. I do like Hooker though, and losing him would leave us thin down back, unless they're planning to move Hurley down there? Perhaps they are going to make a play for Fev after all.

Regardless of whether he's in this/a trade, how good has the Hooker at pick 54 been? Remember we were extremely disappointed that Richmond took Dean Putt at #51, we took Hooker at #54 and that turned a few heads, many had not heard of him. We then got our ruckman in the PSD in Bellchambers. Richmond picking Putt was one of the best things that has happened to us in recent times :thumbsu::D

unbelievable!

they got the world on a plate last year....hand picked who they wanted (including the leagues best player) and the pick of the draft and they wont give one back!

They represent the Gold Coast Suns not Essendon FC.

Less than 12 months ago this kid was more highly rated than Heppell.

+3

I don't know much about Caddy, does someone know enough to tell us what they believe he is worth and why?

I agree losing Hooker and Gumbleton would leave our KPP a little shallow but I hope Hird/Dodoro/Hammer/Bomber know what they are doing.

That's a stretch. :p Less than 12 months ago, Caddy is the player I was hoping we'd draft, assuming Heppell had gone at his predicted 5/6. Caddy was looking likely to go 7-10.

Edit: That said, were we offered pick 7 for Gumbleton and Hooker- surely you'd take it right?

A question for Hutchy & Wallace..

How do you guys know whats being put up for trade if all talks are behind closed doors?

If that's the price, thanks, but no thanks, we'll steal him next year when he's uncontracted.

How

First pick in 2012 - Joe Daniher - Second pick around 40 - How will this get the job done.

By that way, if Essendon is Caddy's employer of choice, and Essendon wants Caddy, is there any legal reason why he can't sign a contract with us?

I doubt there is stuff in Australian Law relating to the traft of draft picks.

Silly post.

Caddy is contracted.

I'm worried that Essendon may do something desperate to get Caddy. Please gentlemen don't give up the farm this year. There will be more available next year and even if we finish higher we'll have a better draft pick to sell. Hoping that Daniher misses a lot of next year. I suggest the club gets him in the gym all year so he is sore each week and doesn't star in TAC and nationals.

Agree with Fish.

The world must be going crazy - No way we should give up the house for Caddy.
