Day missed about 1000 putts out there as well... Looking forward to the PGA.

Hero moment, I played with Jason Day at Keysborough 6-7 years ago, a bloke I knew was trying to sign him up.

Started on the 10th

I birdied the 10th, Day a par :thumbsu:

I smashed one down 11 :thumbsu: his was still going up as it passed mine

I bogied the next 4, Day birdied the next 4.

He beat me about 18............

but I was one up :thumbsu:

I love this course, just finished watching most of Fox Sports coverage (I recorded it and watched it when I got home from work).:)

It's a tough course, but at the same time if you are playing well, you can get a good score, as Stricker showed.

I'd love to see SS go on and win, if an Aussie isn't contention anyway.:)

Aaron Baddeley with a 7 over score, what is it with this guy and majors?:confused:

John Senden once again showing how bloody talented he is, he will go close to winning this IMO.

Shame about Scott, although it might almost be a positive being a few shots back, with no pressure on him at all from the media who are hunting for a big story.

Jim Furyk is the danger IMO, the old bloke eats courses like this up for dinner, expect him to be in it till the end.

I don't care which of the Aussies win, as long of one of them does.:)

shit tournament, shit major

replace it with a select 10-12 course roster of world courses in South Africa, Australia, Mainland Europe, Ireland, Japan, Mainland Asia & North America.

This guy proves again that he's an angry little man, a loose cannon. Be good for putting golf in the news over the next few weeks. I think Steve will feel the wrath of the golf fraternity. Adam Scott is under pressure to sack him immediately.

Remarking on his celebration of Adam Scott winning at Bridgestone, Steve said "It was my aim to shove it right up that black arseh*le."

"I apologize for comments I made last night at the Annual Caddy Awards dinner in Shanghai. Players and caddies look forward to this evening all year and the spirit is always joking and fun. I now realize how my comments could be construed as racist. However I assure you that was not my intent. I sincerely apologize to Tiger and anyone else I have offended."

Was following this yesterday on twitter. Much like Tiger Woods when the sex stuff came out, that friendly media all came out of the woodwork to sink the boots in, all the press are gunning for Williams. What he said was wrong but you can't help but feel that the fact that he is not very popular is influencing a few journalists very strong opinions.

Tough spot for Scott. Been playing great since linking up with Williams

Damn, I was hoping Scott would win in Shanghai, just so we could hear what Williams would have said.:p

It will be interesting over the next 2 weeks, all 3 on the same course, at the same time, maybe even up against each other.

Anyone know the song from the President's cup ad on foxsports currently?

You're a champion, you're a champion.... had a quick search online but couldn't find it.

I went to Victoria GC yesterday for the final day of the Masters, as I do every year with my old man, and I have to say, that was the smallest crowd I have ever seen for a Masters final day.

The last group was followable through every hole, by that I mean you could get close enough to every shot they played, whether off the tee, fairway or green, it was that open.

And the final walk up the 18th, we were right at the front looking at the green from the middle of the fairway, I've never been that close without having to sprint and push like a madman.

The course isn't as well set out as some for spectators, but it was still a good day, and notice a few AFL players following Chalmers (Campbell Brown and some Hawthorn players) and also Goddard and a few saints players and fans following the final group (Ogilvy is a known Saints fan).

Is the 2012 Masters going to be back at Huntingdale where it belongs? Nothing against Victoria, it's a stunning golf course, but I love Huntingdale from a spectators point of view.

I would suggest the timing of the tournament ruined any chance of a decent crowd.

Kingston Heath next year

Had tickets, had Mrs' family christmas gathering
