What are your thoughts on Sandilands? At the moment, I'm thinking he stays in my side if he plays a full game and plays well next week, otherwise he's too big a question mark. Any inside word on his injury?

I believe that he has been ruled out for next week too.

Will be good but at the price may be better looking elsewhere.

I think the Sandilands injury is a load of BS myself, just Lyon attempting to sneak under the radar heading in to round 1. Pretty much every one of our must have talls has been kept in cotton wool this pre season.

I wouldn't have Sandi in my team, mainly based on other factors, but if you are looking at Sandi, I wouldn't be put off by this alleged injury heading in to round 1.

Hey guys... My question is in regards to broughton and duffield and whether try are viable picks for DT. My understanding is that they both represent good value if broughton is playing in the midfield and duffield in controlling the backline. Just wondering whether you guys think duffield can play the quarterback role under Lyon's structure and whether Broughton will be given more midfield time. Thanks, SSH

Broughton has trained with the midfield.
Duffield is one of many who are charged with bringing the ball out of the backline.

I know about the dramas with Mora an Neale.

I want them in my dreamteam already have them in
Am i better off waiting till they make their return then put them in?
Or keeping them in?.
Not expecting big things from them, but pretty sure they will make me enough $$$ to upgrade some mid tier players to top players.
Dont pay much attention to how,why an when prices of players go up.

Start with players who are playing - this year you can't afford to carry anyone not playing into round 1. you might even be able to trade down to Mora (depending on what round he is back).

Not trolling, just saying when Lyon was at the Saints it really was a bubble and even the supporters didnt know what was going on. This was really frustrating with injuries, and we were even kept in the dark over young guys who only played VFL.
Hopefully for you guys he'll be a bit more transparent.

But knowing what Lyon is like, what you've suggested above may well be on the money. I'll be keeping big Sandi in my DT for the time being.

hi guys, ive just moved to perth and want to get to a few games this year, round 1 will be great to watch, whats my chances of getting a ticket being a non geelong or freo member?? and how do i go about getting a ticket???

You start by selecting Fyfe on the Fwd line - he's a star. Then you need to consider whether Sandi is worth the risk in the Ruck. Down back it's all Greg.

Finally you've got the underpriced midfield guns, toss a coin and select either Mundy or Barlow.

If you want to see us live, tickets will be on sale 2 weeks before the game.

Crisp!

Is Jayden Pitt best 22 and does he offer any value as a prosepctive DT player? He's probably still a bit light and prone to being the sub are my inklings.

Hi guys, I'm setting up a Dream Team Derby league - 9 Eagles supporters and 9 Dockers supporters. Hopefully there can be some friendly banter throughout the year.

If you're interested and think your DT prowess is such that it won't disgrace the Purple Army (ideally a reasonably high finish over the last few seasons would be good - I finished 2,300 in 2010 and 916 last year) then send me a PM and I'll give you the league code.

Obviously there has been a lot of talk about Broughton and Duffield. I'm just interested in what you think they may average this year? Especially with Broughton's shift to more midfield time.

Not likely he'll play 22 games as he's rookie listed and only likely to be available thru Viv Michie moving to the LTI list. Looking like our midfield depth will be somewhat replenished this year so he'd be behind a fair few names, but Ross is a fan of him so he may get a good 10-15 games by the looks of things.
