Good stuff!

FWIW, I think 6 trades is enough for the last 10 rounds if your team has solid emergencies.

I'm seriously contemplating hanging on to Horsley & Magner for the whole season if they still look to be in their teams starting midfield rotations after the byes. Both solid & mature age, if they can both average 80+ they will be solid enough for my mid bench for the year. I'm still hoping that Couch can be that type of bench player in the forwards...if he ever gets a game. Ellis may be worth hanging on to as well IMHO even if he has a rest this week...

Horsley might even end up in my 22 if he keeps up the way he's going. If my plans hold up I'll have Ablett, Swan, Pendles, Boyd, Murphy, Barlow and Horsley in my mids by the start of the bye rounds, and I'm planning on keeping one and downgrading the other. In 2012 so far, Horsley has looked more like 2010 superpremium Barlow than Barlow himself has.

For sure, if Horsley keeps averaging 106+ he would make a fine M6. It would make it that much easier to upgrade the rest of the starting 22 to guns. Barlow could then be turned into a M/F premium from my teams perspective.

My elim rank is 17,405 vs my opponent 41,824, but his overall is 8,000ish compared to mine 30,000ish, looking at his team we have a alot of the same players, definitely going to go down to the wire.

Up against Suzy's Superstars. Weekly ranking of 58843, Over of 42k

Looking at the teams we have a few in common but largely different

At this stage its looking

Goddard v Scotland
Heppell v Bugg
Lake v Clarke
Shaw v Geary
Pendlebury v Swan
Murphy v Ablett
Hayes v Anthony
Cox v Maric
Beams v Crameri
Martin v Hill
Chapman v Milera
Porplyzia v Callinan
Smith v Kennedy

Seems i have the edge in most of the matchups with quite a difference in premiums>midpricers

Amazing that I'm 64839/65536, and yet I think I'll win my next match, as he only had a score of about 2100.

Uniques (My team on the right):

Suckling vs Duffield
Hargrave vs Malceski
Clarke vs Ibbotson
Ellis vs Bugg

Thompson vs Pendlebury
Murphy vs Gibbs
Hayes vs McDonald
Magner vs Horsley

Maric vs Ryder

Franklin vs Sidebottom
Devon Smith vs Lewis
Cornes vs O'Keefe
Porplyzia vs Callinan
Kennedy vs Treloar

Obviously I don't have it in the bag but I think it'll be a lot closer than my poor ranking deserves. It'll basically be my forward line vs his midfield I suspect.

My opponent is ranked about 40K overall, but scored about 100 more points than me last week. I think I'll have the edge, but it will be far closer than my first 2 gimme matches.

My opponent has both HMac and Goodes... so while I'll be upgrading this week, he'll be chasing his tale. Finished 58k higher than him last week... so.... not too worried.

Pulled someone ranked ~50,000 and they scored 2062 last round. It is a pretty good team though. I think they are being conservative with trades and probably aiming for a league win because they are holding Mumford.

Prior to trading this week it is:

Heppell v Shaw
Broughton v Waters
Clarke v Morris (ellis)

Swan v Pendlebury
Boyd v Rockliff
Mitchell v Hayes
(Assuming we will both play Greene + Horsley)

Jacobs v Cox

Sidebottom v Chapman
Robinson v Riewoldt
Cloke v Porplyzia
Smith v Adams
Treloar v Kennedy (Cameron/Hampton)

Looks like I have the upper hand particularly since I will most likely be getting Beams in this week and benching Treloar or Smith. Still they have a pretty decent team with no real terrible picks. If they make a double upgrade I'll be really nervous

Mine's also going to be v close, playing a team called the YoungBlo0dz
There's a whole 12 points difference between our teams in overall points scored

My opponent had assembled quite a good midfield for this stage of the year..
Stanton, Swan, Murphy, Watson, Pendlebury and Hayes..
Still should get through, lots of holes down back and up forward

My opponent has Dawson and Folau :p along with Walker suspended, no real dramas will see me through.

Must be one of the few guys left ranked below me. :p

Opponent is projected to win by 22 points.

Me: Boyd (C), Stevie J, Spurr, Birchall, Hargrave, Horsley, Ablett, Morris, Martin, S.Thompson, Milera

Him: Ablett (C), Cloke, Murphy, Johnson (Freo), Hale, Burgoyne, Malceski, Parker, Lake, Coniglio, Dangerfield

I have Ablett too just not as captain, who wins?

Honestly?

Depends on Spurr/Milera/Horsley/Morris.

Drew a toughish opponent, ranked 44k but has a full team and quite a few dangerous unique players.

Comes down to -
Me - Him
221 pts - Waters + Drummond
Boomer - ROK
Sandi - Cox
Broughton - Lake
Boyd - Thompson
Watson - Montagna
Martin - Dangerfield
Roo - Hargrave
Morris - Geary
Treloar - Hill
Mohr - Cameron

I could easily lose right?
