Novak's still returned incredibly off Stan's first serve all night. He should've had that game won 3 or 4 times.

Two massive games there that could, maybe should have both gone Stan's way, but they go to Djokovic and he has to be the heavy favourite. Another what could have been little moment for Stan in the match. But geez he's played a great match.
Unfortunately Djokovic is a beast and Wawrinka needed to hold serve for a 2-0 lead to have a chance.
I say unfortunately because I still dislike Djoker from his pea-hearted days and who doesn't love a good underdog!

Take away the blonde hair and she's ordinary.
Interesting tactics by Stan which I'm sure many will try to emulate. He's just blocking the Djokovic serve back as he knows Novak can't generate enough power by himself/isn't aggressive enough to hurt him. His forehand has held up apart from late in the 2nd set, the forehand cross-court has killed Novak which has opened up the other side of the court for Stan to rip his backhand into or go behind him.

Seems to be working quite well. Federer does the same a lot of the time also.
Not many could emulate Wawrinka's performance tonight though. (As in the actual execution of tactics)
Must say a Joker vs Fed Express final is looking likely and very exciting
Fed and Wawrinka's 1hbhs are useful for that tactic because they're easy to disguise, and can generate a lot more angle than the 2hbh.
