I was there.
It was probably 2 or 3 thousand below what I thought it would be.

We're doing threads on this now?
I thought 28K was pathetic, regardless of weather & time! Have I missed something?

To be honest, I hardly ever look at attendances. Is there any particular reason I should feel great angst if we have a low attendance game? I could understand if we have Port 2012 attendances but I would have thought we were a fair bit off that?
Go and check out the attendance on a similarly horrible night against Brisbane in the middle of Harvey's reign. Think you'll find out we're massively ahead now.
Ermegerd! We do have a thread on 2013 crowd numbers (strangely titled "2013 crowd numbers"), please learn how to use the search function next time.

Yes.
Are you posting in threads like this now? (This is rhetorical)
Are you endorsing threads whining over crowd numbers now? (this is non-rhetorical)
Subiaco is a total shit-hole, combined with the cities uninspiring mass transport system I can see why some members give it a miss at times. Perhaps shift work comes into it as well.
Where has that text come from? I completely disagree with that mentality. I love that we are winning regardless of how it gets done, wishing we would get 37 or 38k to a normal home game.
Tar Valon.
lol.that ******* tower has its fingers in eveything.
next thing you know, A Red will be on the MRP and we will all be stilled
Hang on. I'll just look through my Victorian Handbook of Excuses. Let's see:
- we were playing an interstate team
- there was bad bad weather expected
- we lost last week
- our supporters hate the stadium
- our supporter hate every timeslot except Friday night and Sat 2pm
- our supporters only go to watch the opposition and no one wanted to watch Adelaide
- our city is so exciting and metropolitan we have better things to do than watch footy
- it was too hot/too cold, too sunny/too dark
- Jupiter's 7th moon was in the wrong stage of orbit
- you interstaters just don't understand that we have a superior footy culture to you and part of that hardcore culture is not showing up to games unless all the above conditions are met
Back to the point of this thread (sorry for the delay) in updating:
Home Crowd v Crows: 28,675
Average Home Crowd 2013: 34,441
2013 Average v 2012 Average: Up 1,055
Our 2013 average took a big hit after this weekends game. I hope we fill Patersons for our last 2 home games.
GWS and Saints - you gotta be joking, right?
