dont feel biased at all putting us at 1, last pre season i wasnt too optimistic because of the pre season we had and injuries to key players

this year we have the right young players up and firing and key players back plus key additions to fill holes such as rivers and mcintosh in the ruck. we have a very good mix of old and young players around 20-23 that are rated extremely highly

the opinion from inside the club from officials i have spoken with directly is that this years team will be as good as the 011 side if not better, that itself is enough for me to say we are the team to beat

the opinion inside the geelong footy club is that the real team to beat this year is fremantle also
