Rang up the club today to change my membership details (needed to get my dog a membership. you know, important stuff) when i actually spoke to someone on my third try the woman on the end said i would receive a call back to discuss my membership in 5 to 10 minutes.

Now I'm not sure how long it took for them to ring me back but I'll just say that while waiting for that call i replaced the alternator on my car

Would be worth confirming opening times. And even then I'd advise against arriving at the advertised opening time. I went by a few years ago to pay our memberships and they were over an hour late opening, lucky I had stuff to do to kill time. I'm sure that was just a stuff-up (rostering glitch, late sick call etc) and not a regular thing but just saying .....

Last year I called them to get my membership ID number and they said they would call me back shortly. I'm still waiting for that phone call today! :eek:
 
Our membership dept continues to stink. I am a PAFC Forever member and had to ring up two weeks ago to change my direct debit details.

First call I was on hold for about 5 mins then obviously got diverted to main desk. Girl says nobody in membership dept available but leave my number and someone will call back. They did call back but I missed the call.

Next day I call back. On hold again but eventually get through. Apparently she then has to process a new membership because she can't change direct debit details. I say that's fine as long as it doesn't impact on my years as a continuing member. She says it will not.

Today I received a membership renewal package in the mail. WTF???

I saw info a while ago saying they aren't open on the weekends atm

I am also a PAFC Forever member but this year, as with last year, I have received a membership renewal package. This is after receiving a letter last week confirming that I am a PAFC Forever member and that my part payments would be charged to my credit card in three instalments. What makes that worse is that last season I changed my PAFC Forever membership details to the single upfront payment option.

I'll have to ring the club again to sort out my membership details but having read recent posts I'll probably wait until March 2013.

Im thinking of getting essential Port or whatever its called its the one where you sit in the members at ammi stadium. I asked Claire when they had the live chat going and she said its the one where all the $$ goes to port and nothing goes to the sanfl. or is it better to get an 1870 membership..? how much of the $$ goes to the club if i get the 1870 one?

Just received literature inviting me to sign up again. A bit greedy since I did it about a month ago.
 
I got my membership Yesterday over the phone including Planet Teal membership for my lad.
I forgot the membership shirt and hat package though.Are they worth it?If so I will call again next week.

PAFC forever members still get the membership brochure, so you can read and see about the merchandise pack and premiership fund. Then you can make changes if you want. You don't need to do anything with the brochure, just giving us the chance to change or upgrade. I am guessing a lot of us will get the merchandise pack and would have complained if the club didn't tell us about it.

Yep, fair call. I went and had a closer look at the brochure. There is a "do nothing" option. My mistake.:thumbsu:
