I reckon the AFL should force all clubs to publish their membership numbers, the evil crowbots, Pies, Dockers & Swans do not show current figures.

40k, I'd hate to see how poorly our membership department functions with that many considering it's been completely useless to me personally this season.

Unfortunately I can't say it's been remotely the same for me but I'm hoping it's all sorted now.
Haven't had a problem this year with the membership department, they've been outstanding so far.

Expecting a good jump this week. Our 1st home win plus with the Showdown coming up.
I had some early problems with my membership, but since January, their support was flawless.
so if they make 40 000 members by the round 14 clash against the pies one member is going to win a car? how awesome would that be? from what kochie said it sounds like only members at the game will be eligible to win, which sucks for me as ill be overseas! but good for others as the odds narrow down from 1 in 40 000 to something a bit better. good on you renault, already doing good work for the club.

It did sound like it was going to be whoever was at the game had a chance to win, which will be interesting as they better include all of us sitting in the members in the draw.
If its true that you have to be at the game to win the car, then thats pretty unfair. I go to every game without fail yet my wife is due to have a baby 4 days before this game and theres a good chance I wont be able to attend.

can you give your membership to a mate to attend? thus putting you in the draw? even if they find out he attended instead of you given the circumstances they wouldnt deny you the car. still , we need to get to 40,000 first

Why wouldn't they include Essential Power members in the draw? This year all money generated from these memberships goes straight back into the Port Adelaide Football Club.

This is interesting given the turnstile malfunctions that everyone has been talking about. Obviously, they'll draw it from a list of Members reduced down to those who've scanned in for the game (you can't draw from the full list and then ask if that person's at the game - PR disaster) so make damn sure you get scanned in properly for that one!
