Be interested in thoughts on my team, rucks are my clear weakness but with a lack of cheap options I figured was better to spend elsewhere and wait for an opportunity to upgrade.

Goddard, Gibbs, Heppell, Hartlett, watts, Vlaustin - Terlich, Goodes
Swann, Ablett, Murphy, Shuey, Gaff, Wines, O'meara, Wines - Crouch, S Dwyer
Kruger,Gorringe -Rowe, Dawes
Franklin, Rockliffe, Robinson, Lecras, Byrnes, Mccaffer- Mayes, Ferguson

I think I have enough obscure pics to differentiate from the masses, I recon Gaff and Shuey might be this years sidebottom and beams and ready to step up from 90pt players into 100pt avg.

im all about this 3 premo back line... if kerridge and dwyer miss some games won't really matter bkos i don't a rookie in the forward line... unless the currie situation doesn't work can move cox upto ruck and so on.

thoughts ne one ?

Dwyer may not be promoted from the rookie list.

3 Lions in the forward line? why not 1 of them in your midfield? Also now unsure on K Mitchell, beinng used less and less as pre-season has progressed and has as of yet been moved off the rookie list also.

I wouldn't risk embley, too injury prone, downgrade him to a cheapie and use the spare $$ on upgrading someone else.

I'd get rid of those I bolded. Also Currie is taking the majory of ruck work from Goldy so I think it is almost safe to say he will be Norths #1 ruck this season.

Dwyer is still a rookie listed player and I don't think he has done enough to get moved off the rookie list. I've seen him at games and training.

I'd also piss off 1 of Shuey/Gaff. Probably tell Gaff to pack his bags.

No Cox for his DPP for the forwards & rucks? Not a ad lineup to be honest but still some work for you.

Pretty much very happy with my team but not sure on Currie as he may or may not play in round 1. And is Zorko over Rockliff a good choice and what do you guys think about my selection on Martin. All my premiums are set and what do you think about my overall team?

Have both Zorko & Rockliff, just have 1 in the midfield. I am positive Currie will play round 1 and most likely start as their #1 ruck. Thoughts of pissing off Daw & putting there rowe instead. Interesting to have Kennedy there, may be a masterstroke. However, I'd have Cox there. There is enough news & form to suggest we can risk not having a premium in the rucks yet.

Other than that it is a good lineup

He's not injury prone, FFS.

Explain WHY Watts is a bad pick! I don't have him, but @ his price and based on the second half of last year, he may well be a very astute pick up. Please stop giving people shit advice unless you have sound reasons for doing so.

I'm starting to like a lot of the mid-pricers.

Karnezis finished off a strong pre-season last night whilst Moloney looks like he will be an important player for the lions in 2013. Lucas has shot into peoples thoughts off the back of a promising performance and a sound NAB cup overall. He should at least have cemented his spot in carltons best 22 although not everyone will agree. I have been on Josh Kennedy from the eagles for a while now whilst others have been on varcoe and byrnes to a lesser extent. Embley has made me reconsider after reading he'll be right for round 1. Theres a few injuries in the eagles squad at the moment, so he will probably line up.

Lucas is very tempting to me @ 250k. Has a very DT friendly team role. Don't know how long it will last once Scotland come back in..but should be good for 90+ in the first 2 rounds playing that role at least...

Feedback appreciated! Clearly going for a more risky set up with cash to spend to plug gaps early on.

Thanks for the feedback everyone - made some adjustments based on comments, reviewing some other teams and a little more research.

Appreciate the responses and knowledge of the board in general.

Any thoughts on the below???

Def: Goddard, Gibbs, Duffield, Armstrong, Goodes, Docherty (Terlich, Stevenson)
Mids: Swan, Ablett, Cotchin, Murphy, Lower, Wines, Crouch, O’Meara (Mitchell, Viney)
Rucks: Maric, Longer (Currie, Rowe)
Fwd: Franklin, Cox, Rockliff, N Riewoldt, Kennedy, Karnezis (Paparone, Lee)
$34k left

Backs look a little weak but if Armstrong is named R1, I’ll back him. Lower is easily interchangable. Riewoldt in purely because of their draw at the start.

why are u all posting almost exactly the same team and asking for 'help'...lol

im in with a chance for the 50K this year judging by the ridiculous picks some nimods are planning on choosing:thumbsu:
