Leuey will shoot up in value though so worth holding on to i think. Currie is a cash cow for now and so is neade, but i can play neade in place of stringer come round 1 if he is out. My understanding was that Stringer had only twinged an ankle and could possibly line up round one. Can be tweaked once final line ups come out, possibly to daniher, i dont know.

Malthouse doesn't seem to have much interest in running a tagger, but who knows.
As dannnnnnnnnnnn said malthouse not playing a heavy tag usually and carrazzo especially has been released from that role more
Much different team than I'm used to seeing not sure where to start in giving you my thoughts.
The back line is pretty solid the 3/0/5 is a little bit of a risky structure but it is manageable one, i think you've spent to much money in the midfield as you've got it pretty stacked and the rest of your team is looking pretty light on. I would de-grade Ebert to a rookie and move Rockliff to the forward line.
The ruck like is way to light on, when you move Rockliff to the forwardline you could then move Cox into the rucks.

Can see Carrazzo going to Cotchin round 1 as he did last year. I recall seeing him tagging Rich on the weekend although I'm not sure how much of the game he spent on him. Carrazzo is just too good of a tagger to not be used.
Malthouse did have Wellingham tag for Collingwood but he also had Pendlebury, Beams, Swan, Ball, Sidebottom etc to run through the middle. A full time tagger in there really wasn't needed with that sort of midfield.
Yeah well Rich was chopping us up and he went to him in around the 3rd quarter.
But i think that will be a rarity
We played shockingly and to be frank i don't think that's going to happen, a midfield won't run through us like that in the real things.
Look for Curnow and Bell to shut down Cotchin and only if he starts to get on fire will Carrots go to him

Interesting. Has Malthouse come out and stated this or is this just a gut feel amongst Carlton supporters?
And I have a feeling Carrazzo will be jumping across to Cotchin if Bell/Curnow are on him
no offence to them but Cotchin is too good not to have a heavy tag.

Start of the season you guys play Rich, Coll, Geel and Ade - probably the best 4 mids in the comp talent wise, so I think Carrazzo will have a bit of tagging early.
West Coast in there as well, but I don't think you'll tag in that game.
