Laughing so hard at him having Stringer as a starter. People actually take advice from this knob?
No, we take the piss out of him.

But yeah, I'm yet to see or know of anyone who uses 'Mr. Fantasy' aka 'Dr. Dreamteam' as a guide...

...If they do, they should retire from DT.

He didn't show signs of breaking it....after the first quarter think he had 5 possesions for the rest of the game. Moved forward in the 2nd but had no impact. My idea is trade him out until he can prove to me he can break the tag and when he does ill bring him back at a much cheaper price tag.

Last year he did. Im not saying he did in that game, because he didnt. Im saying your going to trade him because you think one game (first game of season) is enough info to prove that he cant break a tag?

I hope for your sake he doesnt destroy bottom 6 teams in brisbane and port.

Just out of curiosity do you have him?

Do you people actually realise most of the players he has selected atm aren't even playing this week so he can still change them which is what he will more than likely do, only look at the 4 clubs that played.

In saying that why you would have crouch selected when he wasn't even playing is beyond me.

Need a bit of help, how do you reckon i get my DT to still get about 2100? Scored 355/5 so not good at all!

When 5 of your premiums score well below their averages/projected scores not much chance of a 2000 score, let alone 2100. I'm in a similar position myself. Perhaps downgrade Patton and use your cash to upgrade one of your mid rookies to a mid pricer mid like Moloney or Lucas. Probably wouldn't make any difference though. It's just 1 round, your 5 under performing premo's will most likely bounce back next week. Not much point messing up your structure chasing lost points from just 1 round...

Don't chase points. Just fix genuine errors.

If you don't want a Dangerfield price drop trade him out for the best rookie for rnd 3 then back in in rnd 4 for example. But you will miss some good scores if you do this. If any ribs rumours are true, he will be fine rnd 3.......

If it turns out a mid price fwd is a dud after the round replace him with one that will go up in price.

The 1st 2 rounds are about getting rookies right and mid pricers. Premos will take care of themselves in the long term.

Post your team 100 more times because you have no idea and get BF to pick your side for you, but in your head you really think your picking your team - whatever helps you sleep at night

That's a bit rough. Who cares if he posts he re-adjusted lineup every few days. Chillax :thumbsu:

I think I learnt something this week, something that was on my mind all preseasons. Choose players who you know will score well. I chose Danger, Walker, Heppell and Goddard. Danger had more spud scores last year than most premiums, Walker has his days, you could not always rely on Goddard for a 90+ and Heppell is only in his 3rd year. None of them are bad picks, but its an example of reliability.

Proven players are always the best bet. Swan, Pendles, Cotchin, Deledio, Chapman/SJ, Rockliff will avg 90 at absolute worst, Watson is as professional as it gets. Unfortunately there are not many extremely reliable players, but its probably best to avoid players like Robinson and S.Thompson. Both have high ceiling but their off days will ruin your Sunday night.

In majority of cases, Risk =/= Reward. The unique should come from your structure and/or from 1 or 2 players (premium or mid pricer).

So the guys yet to play are the best picks?

Yeh Cox and Goddard arnt proven

Danger has as many bad games as someone like Murphy a year
