Heaps of potential backline bargains this year, could be worth going with a 3/5 defensive structure given that Goodes,Van Unen, Pittard, Osborne, Docherty, Terlich, Salter or Stevenson could be given a fair few games early on and be decent scoring options.

Yarran was on SEN the other day saying he has enough of a tank to rotate through the mids this year, watch in preseason games i suppose.

Nice list. I'd almost have Pittard at one, he looks massive compared to the twig he used to be.

Goodes, Pittard, Docherty and Terlich and have Staker up forward as I reckon there are more quality defender rookies than forwards.

I thoroughly enjoyed Stevenson's work a few years back for the Eagles. He can play and is a classic half back. Just starved of opportunity in a defence that has so many players locked in.

I had Heppell ($450,000) but with all the essendon speculation it got me thinking...

Also i was considering Suckling ($442,400)

Keep hearing the names Colquhoun, Pittard and Stevenson from Port. Any Port supporters have any word on Campbell Heath? Was said to be a very talent junior. Requested a trade to Port for opportunity and to play with mate John Butcher.

No to watts. No to Hepp. Suckling has a brutal first 7 rounds...may not get lots of cheap ball.
