Luke Ryan getting slept on aa bit it feels, Always seems to shit points in the early rounds each year
Which Ryan do we get though .....first half of the season, or second half ?

Hasn't there been FREO training reports with the emphasis on quick ball movement ......could suggest that'll suit Clark moreso than Luke Ryan

Bramble is a potato, any younger players a chance?
Bramble is now best 22, easily. His improvement from round 1 to round 22 was remarkable.
The only defensive positions up in the air are the 6th spot, we were playing a 3rd tall but James O'Donnell hasn't had a great pre-season and his likely replacements are not SC relevant.

Busslinger looks good but is only taking Jones' or Lobb's spot if they get injured.

Freo changed their game style 2nd half of last year and tried to go a little more direct. Had an impact on both Ryan and Clark who both benefit from the chip chip approach. Will be interesting what they go with this year.
Ryan yes, Clark no, Clark's down games came from being heavily tagged

Anyone else considering Whitfield even though he has the Round 2 bye which is the best of the early byes?
Then has the Round 16 bye which should be the easiest to deal with.

as someone who traded in ryan before price rises last year - the issue is ryan's scoring dropped off a cliff after his own coach called him out for useless stat padding - which is a large part of how he puts up monster supercoach scores. cf ryan's pre bye and post bye supercoach output to see this.

longmuir should really be embracing a more attacking gameplan if he hopes to keep his job past this year which i think will come at the detriment of ryan's kick mark game. ryan also suffers somewhat if one of cox or pearce goes down and hes required to play more accountable, and those two are made of glass. i think hes slightly overpriced given these risk factors.

flanders / sheezel / sinclair are surer bets for top priced defenders for my money
