I would swap Maguire for Clarke and Golby for Harwood(hard call on who to drop for him).
Nice effort. Just thought I would point out to you that it is Mitch Golby not Colby
I did mean Yeo out for Harwood* I think Raines is safe as long as one of Golby or Harwood become permanent midfielders and Yeo or Docherty steps up and takes their place.
Golby's a good chance to finish top 5 in our B & F at this rate and Harwood might not get a contract next year

I think that was probably a silly statement that he might not get a contract. Surely he will, but I don't see him in our best 22 and think he could be behind a few small defenders like Doc, Yeo, Golby and Adcock for the next couple years.
On current form he is probably ahead of Doc and Yeo. Should have no problem locking down a best 22 spot for the remainder of the season IMO. With the traits he has shown down back, I'm hopeful he can play in the midfield next year.

Been pretty surprised that Docherty has only played the 5 games for the year. Thought he was set for a year similar to what Mayes is having.

He has played 7 game a few of them as sub. When he has played a full game or exactly more than a quarter he has played good footy.

BM, my point was I was surprised about how few games he has played when the club held him back from a debut last year and talked him up a lot during the summer, not whether he was any good or not.For my ideal team I'd go....

At this stage of the season, I don't many fans could envisage any Lion being within sight of Hanley for B&F or Brownlow.

While I certainly dont disagree with Hanley being favourite for the Merrett-Murray medal I wouldnt mind a sneaky few dollars on our number 1 ruck man. Luey has quietly gone about being in our top 5 for most of our solid team performances and is getting some continuity on the field. His combination with our mids has improved exponentially to a point where we have a decided advantage in this area over most teams IMO.

Especially with Hanley set to miss a few now. The medal is there for the taking now for Leuey. Not sure any others are within striking distance though, except possibly Rocky who I'd imagine would've scored pretty consistently in the coaches' eyes this season.
