The Melbourne Football Club sent me information in the mail on renewing my membership. I'm waiting for the same from the Bulldogs. Maybe tomorrow...;)

I sometimes wonder what it would be like if I would have switched to Hawthorn in the early 80s when I lived in Box Hill. Loyalty sometimes sucks big time.:(

I wish I could become a member but I'm busy most/every weekend.

It also doesn't help that I don't know many Bulldog supporters. Nobody to go with.

And the no Friday night game thing bugs me.
I don't know any Bulldogs supporters. Sign up anyway. You can pay in monthly installments, it's not much.

I know a few Dogs fans in standing room so I catch up with them when I go to games. I've gotten to know people around me fairly well from my reserved seat :)

I used to go to the footy by myself most of the time and when I had a reserved seat in the Whitten Stand at the WO I got to know the people around me really well. The same thing when I lived in Perth. I had a season seat at both the WACA and Subi and sat with the same people. I always wore my red, white and blue and was nicknamed "Footscray" by them. I became good friends with Adrian Barich's parents, John and Dawn,(Adrian played for West Coast at the time) and even had Sunday lunch at their home. I'll always remember the good wishes I received from the people I got to know that year at the last match of the season since I had told them I'd be returning to Melbourne the next year. I guess that's why I still have a soft spot for West Coast. And I did get a ticket from the club for the 1989 Grand Final. Now how I got there from Perth during the airline pilot's strike is a story in itself!
