As we have said the rest of your team played extremely hard and fair and that definitely contributed to a great spectacle of footy. But Trompf repeatedly sought blokes out and tried to hit them off the ball with his eyes clearly on the man, I understand that his intention isn't to floor everyone he obviously plays with a heated passion and I could tell your teammates had the utmost respect for him, I just think he oversteps the line often (today anyway) and he needs to tone it down, especially if no.1 for Kedron is badly hurt.

BlackGun, I will agree with you. You make a great point about his intention isn't to floor everyone, and I must admit, I didn't see what happened with No 1. And yes I have seen him cross the line and I have seen him get "fixed up" too.
It would intimidating playing against him.
I know what I'm trying to say here, but it will come across in this forum as insensitive, so I will keep it to myself. But awareness is a skill in this game.

I have no problem starting the Tromph is a dog thread... Time for Noosa to get real if they want to grow the game rather than turn people away. Courage is more than holding your place over the ball. It is also courageous to turn a long time player away from your club if he is bad for the game - let's see just how courageous Noosa are...

Won't happen. They love him there. Not too many blokes who play against him would feel comfortable playing against him, but every team mate he has had loves him. If he is playing up as bad as the reports here, the umpires should be reporting him. They aren't , so nothing will change.

The scores are up on aflq now. I think nambour got up by about 90 points

Saw the Caboolture V Nambour game, played hard in very hot conditions, Nambour better on the day. Caboolture's new home ground is very nice, playing surface is great and will be enjoyed by every club. Facilities are very good.

Does nambour look like they have a strong team this year? Or is it caboolture struggling to field talent?

Kedron put a great day on for the Roos people. Both games played in good spirit, couple of the older blokes in the 2's carried on a bit :) but overall a good day. Kedron were a little depleted apparently with army boys away and N.Clarke didn't suit up but will be a good side this year. Win their fair share I think when they can get near best side on the ground. Maroochy were solid without being outstanding - played in spurts and their good players continue to play well. More importantly nil injuries. Highlight of the day was coach Maloney blowing up an inflatable pool in the dressing sheds to have ice baths. Some of the guys brought pool toys with them as well... o_O
