He was in the gym again today. Not surprisingly they seem to be focussing on putting muscle on him.
He looks slightly bigger this season

TheInjuryFactory, here's a question that is screaming out for one of your clever gifs.Hi Purple were you the guy with the binoculars and umbrella?
Ahhh there I am in all my post-impressionist glory kindly holding the umbrella for dockerfemme as she keenly observes a shirtless Fyfe.PurpleReign and friend at the footy - is that a moreton bay fig in the background?

You are a dashing young gentleman PR, and dockerfemme cuts a fine figure as well...Ahhh there I am in all my post-impressionist glory kindly holding the umbrella for dockerfemme as she keenly observes a shirtless Fyfe.
BTW who is Chalky? and why is he called that?Is it just me or does Johnno look particularly lithe and agile this summer. His body shape is more like a first year player. He's a long way ahead of where he was this time last year. If I recall correctly, this time last year he was doing lengths of the oval on Po's scooter. Pav was also bounding about like a youngster.
I did laugh at one play today. In one match sim Sherro kicked to Ballas who was being closely checked by Tanner. Tanner easily spoiled the ball but straight after this play about 10 others gave Sheridan individual advice about where the kick should have gone. With so much advice on offer I guess his team mates were suggesting he could have and should have kicked it anywhere by there.
My last thought for the day is Crozier. Of all the up and coming players he is my absolute favorite. I often think back to the enormous potential he displayed in a good Friday game for east Perth some years ago now. But watching him today I couldn't help but think that maybe Weller has moved ahead of him now and Langdon and a couple of others are closing in too.
Actually one more thought, I was quite taken by Sandi's white and metallic red boots today but as I looked across the elaborately colored boots of the players I noticed Chalky was wearing black. Now there's a diamond who wants to stay coal.
Brady Grey i think.BTW who is Chalky?
I generally don't dress so formally when I attend training, but today it just seemed the right thing to do. I am glad that PurpleReign was there or my best suit would have been rained on.Ahhh there I am in all my post-impressionist glory kindly holding the umbrella for dockerfemme as she keenly observes a shirtless Fyfe.
Apparently training in heat is just as effective as training at altitude.I was there to watch training this morning and can't add much more than has already been said. I left and went to the markets, only to return a little later(about midday) to check out the team store to find Harley Balic and Silva doing hard run throughs in seeeeeering heat Gee these boys work hard!
E Shed I went to training via Tony's Bratwurst stall and he confirmed he is an Eagles man...
Yes, he was conspicuous by his absence. Did anyone on the club room side of the ground see AP today? I don't recall seeing him at any stage, I'm starting to get a bit concerned.Anything to note on Alex Pearce?
Jedi not sure about Weller very inconsistent. Saw him kick few good kick but miss a few also. Grey if stay injuries free will be a good spurr replacement. Before Blakely yes as we have plenty of in and under players but Weller looks every bit as good as him.
Freo Shark I had already placed the order for a lovely Bratwurst sausage with onion and sauerkraut and sauce when I found out. But I will put him on notice for next time to convert to following the Dockers or lose my business. I hope i don't lose out as the Bratwurst sausage is fantastic but if I do i will blame you. ha ha .So i assume you didnt nor will you spend any money in his stall?

Yes and significantly so in my opinion. Is Hannath looking any faster or more agile?
No need for concern. Ive seen him come out of the gym every time I've been to training. He has baulked up enough that you can tell he has been instructed to put on muscle and is on an individual program.Yes, he was conspicuous by his absence. Yah, I still try to figure how you look like, umm Roger Hayden do look like d.pearce .one player I am bit worried crozier hope is just one of those day.Grey looks to be the ideal reserve for Lee Spurr.
meima were you in the stand behind the goals this morning ?
That's encouraging. He always had the right attitude.Yes and significantly so in my opinion.
