Nice to see Groth back up from the AO beat Lu 6-4 6-3. Kokkianakis lost 6-4 6-3. Groth Vs Anderson next round could come down to a couple of tiebreakers. Tomic has Dolgopolov who has been struggling with injury lately. I never want to predict that match up though.

Bad loss for Kokkanksis, really must making a lot of errors to lose to Kudla.

Grothy really showing his stuff, Anderson will be a struggle but his form has been great so far this year Sam

Bernie just keeps rolling

Tomic playing good tennis since the start of the year.

Possible match up with Groth looming. Cant see Tomic ever losing to Groth.

Groth lost to Anderson 6-3, 6-2. Pretty straightforward, although when I opened the stream Groth was lying on the in agony clutching his hip/groin area. Played on afterwards fine so we'll see.

Incorrect

Kokkanakis on the other hand....he's got a poor net game, prone to errors, not overly aerobically fit. The jury is still out.
What have Dimitrov's results been like since Wimbledon?
Chokes on the big stage, is not a youngster anymore and loses against lower ranked players regularly now.
People think this bloke will be a multi grand slam champ. Well he probably will but that says more about this era.

Kokka has got plenty to learn and improve, he's only 18 but as you elluded to give him more time to prove himself.

He had the trainer stretch his hip area after like the 3rd game of the match and was grimacing some in the second yet. Don't know how serious it was since he played on.

But he had setpoints in the first set tiebreaker then ended up losing it by double faulting. Double faulted to lose the first game of the 3rd set. Got back on serve at 5-5 only to lose 5-7.

Wonderful to see Luca Vanni make the final in Sao Paulo. Sort of come from nowhere. 29 year old Italian who only got his first ATP win a few days ago after qualifying for the tournament and only managed to crack the top 200 in the second half of last year. I can't say I know too much else about him though other than seeing him in Challenger and Futures draws but not watching many of his matches. The one area where he really surprised me was his mental strength considering he was ranked 149 before this week. The Brazilian crowd were absolutely feral as usual but he never lost the plot and got it back on serve in the decider. Apparently he was pretty clutch in his match against Lajovic as well.

Berdych/Wawrinka final in Rotterdam, 1.30am start. Berdych apparently played very well in smashing Simon and Stan had two tiebreaks against Raonic.

Sao Paulo final will be Vanni as mentioned his story is an interesting one, he plays Cuevas in the final.

Anderson plays Nishikori in the final of Memphis, that'll take place 8am tomorrow morning. I watched a bit of Nishikori today, struggled to get past Querrey, making more errors than usual.

The draw for Delray beach next week is out too. Groth has exact same draw with Lu in the first round and probably Anderson in the next round. Tomic has Jaizri while Marinko is up against Isner.

Kokkanakis is also likely to qualify in Delray Beach

Stan climbs up to number 7 in the rankings now after his victory against Berdych! Berdych is seriously a choker and will never make it to the top despite a new coach and playing better tennis this year. He lacks the mental edge to be right up there.

Kei had an impressive win over Anderson to claim his third straight Memphis Open.
