Went down to watch yesterday whilst it was a fairly competitive game geez the skill level and execution was poor must be hard for coaches having to dumb down gameplans and structures for these blokes, no need to sack coaches they're rendered useless anyway.
Well done Chislet5 hope ya feel tough and talented.Aussie rules footy has been played for many years at the highest level of AFL through to lower district 2nds.One thing that never changes is regardless of skill and talent at ALL levels people show passion commitment and courage.Division 3 has only been introduced in around the last 5 years and I believe its been a godsend.Sadly Neville nobodys such as yourself feel the need to talk down and ridicule others because you think your better but I say the jokes on you.In future just stick to playing AFL cos your so so good and dont bother watching the minor comps.

With the season done who are top 5 players in Div 3? Surely Moore is #1. Who wins the best in comp?

No number 1 but top 5. Way too good for West, luckily he is young enough to leave and go elsewhere, make something of his playing career. Going to go nowhere fast at West. Wish him all the best.

??? I was talking about Daniel Moore from Epping localfooywatch, you certainly have a bee in your bonnet about West Heid at the moment. Are you a current or past player?

I was thinking B Moore, he is a gun.

Not a current or past player, I played against Heidelberg West a few times. No bees in my bonnet, just do not want to see them suffer anymore.

I retired two years ago and moved to the area so they are my local club now.

well well I have to eat my words resa won the granny good on them and their coach.
Now the hard work and expense starts to stay in div 2 and be competitive and not go straight back to div 3 .
How much more dollars will it cost to field a good team in div 2 I reckon you would have to be around the 90k mark to have a sniff at finals

I think realistically they will just be wanting to stay up in D2 next season.

considering the performances from Panton Hill and Diamond Creek this year i think resa have a great chance of staying up

hbflanker I agree with your statement about just staying up I still reckon they will need to spend 80 to 90k for players for just to place lower to mid field and avoid the drop

I’m not sure how many creeks games you watched but they weren’t that far away this year.

Some straight kicking would have seen them just about make the 4

Lost Thomo 14 points kicked 6.15,

Drew Lalor kick 5.15

Lost Fitzroy 8 points kicked 7.17

but bad kicking is bad footy

Didn't say I didn't enjoy watching it it was a nice relief from the vfl but I don't understand why epping would make Steve power reapply as I feel there's very little he or a new coach could do to get these blokes back to div 1 apart from recruiting

If 2 clubs came in that would be fantastic for the league.

A few hotels in the kilmore area would be happy, considering the distance between there and the inner suburbs teams

Hearing that Kilmore have made an application to join the NFL. Will get rid of the bye but a bit of travelling for the other clubs in Div 3

I think I recall reading on a NFL thread there was a rumour that Wallan also were looking to go back to the NFL.

It appears the Kilmore rumour is true they, have made an application to the NFL. If they get permission to come across it would be great to have 18 games in Div 3, i'm sure the travel issues wouldn't be that much of a concern compared to the bye.

It's not that far!!

What's the largest distance currently?
South Morang to Banyule?
Now it will double as a one off trip which does seem better than a 7 team Comp which is a bit of a joke to have to many byes a season.

Just having a look of their clearence page and it appears there's a lot of back and forth movement of players to the NFL. Maybe it's a way of getting recruits to stay with the club with less travel and cheaper to keep them on the books.

For mernda and south Morang it would be the same distance as going too banyule and w/Heidelberg pretty much
