Scrappy game at Chelmer last night, Sandy & Jimmy both butchered the footy at times. Jimmy were clearly more desperate for the ball in the first half which is where the game was won IMO, particularly the 2nd qtr. A select few of the Jimmy's sure know how to slip in the cheap shots at times.

Watto, guise and the big ranga off HB gave Sandy a headache.

Rubbish game last night.

It got interesting late, but the standard was very low.

Zillmere, Woodsmen and Kedron would smash either of the 2 sides playing last night

Good to see AFLQ dedicating so many resources to this competition.

This write up is absolutely first class and must have taken hours of research. Interest levels in the fastest growing competition in the AFLQ setup must be at an all-time high at head office.

the $100k in fees paid collectively by the 14 clubs in this competition is well spent

Yes a very sad write up of the competitions all year in all divisions.

Given the fact we pay for umpires as a separate issue as well. One must question where the money goes and what it is for. That's a lot of money to do a draw and not much else.
Clubs get two tickets to the league medal nite. If you want more its $177 per ticket.
All clubs and players in any competition deserve respect and need to see where thier money is spent.
Its just the way it is these days.
Wonder what would happen if clubs did a Kerry packer and started thier own competition.
The head honchos in cricket saw that first hand and the game changed forever.
Not saying it could happen but the lessons learnt there are invaluable to the game today.

funny, this organisation is taking over AFLBJ next year.

God help the juniors!
So there is no aflbj next year. Is that what you are saying. It's a big job getting all the junior teams and clubs organised.
They do a pretty good job I think and it would be a shame to lose those people.

While we are on the topic of club and league management, when will decisions be made regarding league structure, clubs moving up divisions, clubs not capable of actually putting a side together, clubs newly entering this division etc ?? Is it already well underway, or is it put off until the new year ??

Hopefully they will keep the experienced people from AFLBJs.

Will be sad to lose the people who have done all the work over the past few decades.

But seriously you get better match reports on this site than on AFLQ site .
