Proud is signing at Grange in the hope Aspley pick him up before deadline which I am not sure when that is. Grange is an affiliate with Aspley as far as players not selected for Aspley play there.

Is he doing this in the hope to play neafl football again ? If so that is good for him he should be playing at that level . Good luck Albert

Mt Gravatt junior, Grange have lots of other clubs ex-players and Juniors on their books. Should Mt Gravatt be compensated ???

Watched Labrador belt my Cats today. We matched them for 2 quarters, but got belted the other two,,very impressive display by Labrador. of my cats, well their disposal is not up to scratch, they play boundary line football , ignoring the corridor so much, they handball far to much, and on so many occasions have 2 or 3 players flying for the contest, instead of one player flying for the contest, and 3 or so at ground level to collect the spoils, so to speak.then simple stuff like having big Mitsch Brewer at full forward, and a upfield player gains a clear run with possession of the footy and kicks the ball 40 metres towards big Mitch like up in the air, allowing the oppousing backman to simply spoil from behind. geez.. a 35 metre pass low to the ground allowing Brewer to lead and take the mark on the chest..... should be the go..... seems there is so much emphasis on the game plan, but shit you have to have the basics of footy going first before worrying about game plans. And this showed today,, as Labradors disposal was excellent.there was always only one up and 2 or 3 at ground level etc etc... u guys know where im coming from.
My Cats imo, need to address these basic principals of the game, before so called game plans,,,

Think you are being a little unrealistic stuyd!
I agree with the coach and thought the Cats played their best footy for the year in all honesty against a side that will take all comers for most of the season. Labrador have heaps of talent and terrific leg speed and have the experience up forward to capitalise.
I think the gap between the top two and the rest will only get wider.
Cats do miss targets etc but that has more to do with talent and personnel rather than game plan etc.
Think Lab will be best served by one less key fwd come Morningside though if Fraser and Lappin play.
But gee they were super impressive - their new recruits - and there are plenty of them - could easily be good players in the NEAFL.

Agree with top two sides being very strong but I would not write of Wilson grange as been a very handy side later in the year! What do you mean by one less key forward against m/side? I think there forward line would be hard for m/side to match up on!

Kittycat,,,
your missing my main point here. What im saying,is whilst the game has changed over the years,, it hasn't changed in the forever basic areas that are firstly and foremostly required on game day... be it simple basic stuff ,. like the old nominate one up in a pack and the rest stay down for the crumbs...this non occurrence happened on numerous occasions and has been happening in all games this season so far. Again, in all games , our disposal is below standard in this comp, and to be kicking a lollipop ball to big brewer , instead of a low level pass is just poor decision making. We are handball crazy,, on some occasions handballing 3,4,5 times gaining bugger all metres going forward, which in turn disrupts the players ahead ...You rarely see this with the Morningsides and Labradors,,, its 2 handballs at the most and move forward with a 40 metre pass/kick to a target that has made position .
We continuously play boundary line football. Geez, its unbelievable how many times we do this,, once again the longest way home and we are kicking for goal on so many occasions from the boundary line its not funny. We are totally lacking in corridor football as they call it now,,, to me nothing has changed, corridor football is the old , kick it up the guts, its the quickest way home and allows direct shots for goal. for example , how many times did Labrador use this corridor footy.. Even when they were forced to the boundary, they had players running in the corridor ,,
When you play boundary line footy like we are at the moment, you are never going to kick enough goals that will win you a game.

I went along to this game as well and was very impressed by Labrador, they are a lot different to last season. Fraser and Lappin move a lot better than what I thought they would,Daniel moves well for a kid and Baxter I thought was well held but still looked dangerous and Clarke is all class . Wadsworth didn't play im not sure why Perry bolt looked to struggle, but boy that's a strong forward line. I agree with the above comments Brewer I thought was good should of kicked 6 but delivery was pretty ordinary to him at times. I thought Pantic was the best player on the ground for the cats and agree they have got some work to do. I think Morningside are the side but for the first time after seeing Labrador they have closed the gap, I wonder is Fraser and Lappin are available against Morningside in a few weeks time? The cats need to beat Wilston Grange this week or will fall away from the top 3 teams, and some people are talking the Gorillas up to be as good as Morningside and Labrador? I see Gus Munroe played in the reserves for the tigers but came of the ground with either a major knee or ankle injury.

had a crack at the ladder predictor.

This is what I came up with. Weird, because I would never have picked this order without using the predictor.

Thought I'd have a go too!
