Thanks for your feedback Danny, I am receptive to all types of feedback including positive and negative. I must say that I think your hearing is pretty good as you have gotten most of what I said right except I don't use the word dog. When using this great word I always preceded it with "weak" when letting someone know I think they are the lowest form of human. I agree with you I should not have carried on like I did but "one punch can kill" is very topical at the moment. I don't see why I would stand up for someone off the ground if this happened and then stand by and let it go on the ground. One punch can also kill on the ground as well...we all need to stamp this out. If he was a new recruit at our club then this would not be tolerated. Again, I agree with you and I should not have responded this way and apologise for my out burst, this is a very sensitive topic around our club due to recent events and I hope you can understand my emotions are always high when I see this happen. P.s I am a club supporter who has no official capacity other than to assist where required. I stand on my own feet and am responsible for my own actions.Someone from Nambour needs to have a word with the bloke who goal umpired the twos on Saturday. After one of our guys made an admittedly late and clumsy attempt to spoil, he started calling him a "dog c***" and said it was no wonder we had trouble attracting people to our club with players like him around (the irony being, the player in question is actually a new recruit).
When another of our players suggested he should maybe concentrate on umpiring, he responded, "I can still goal umpire while knocking c***s out!"
More than a little hypocritical to question another club's culture when you're a match official threatening violence against that same club's players.
