Which is worth more - a 100,000 $1 coins, 20,000 $5 notes or 1000 $100 notes?
yeah, l don't really see that applying in this case and l will tell you why. Pick 26 and 28 equal the same amount of points as pick 10 but it is not pick 10.

Would l rather take a high quality pick 10, or 2 much lower, less quality picks (albeit Academy) even tho it equals the same. I would rather take pick 10 every time. In hindsight, knowing how good hippy is, we would take him.

Yeh thats the thing. Even though on paper 26+28 don't look like a pick 10 we were in a lucky position where we could basically use them as a pick 10.

Put it this way. If you had pick 10 in the same draft (ignoring academy discounts for a moment) would you use it on Hipwood? I probably would. And if that's the case. It's almost a moot point whether it actually cost you a single pick or several.

Hipwood was already in the bag, so to speak, The Aish trade didn't give us access to him.

However it did give us enough currency for Mathieson, whether you see that as a draft win or trade win, I'm not sure, but Im reasonably happy with that outcome.

Hopefully pick 28 this year, can really drive home a good deal for us.

Is there a way for me to block this thread so I can avoid talk about the semantics of trades that happened 12 months ago?

Don't click on it.

Alternatively, if you're not clicking on it - fire the person you've got hired to click on it and read it out to you.

Why did you make** me do that Zoblitz?
