Our competitors have made moves, the competition is swamping us.. Coaches must have a huge amount of confidence in our kids, let's hope they come on like we want.

Collingwood and Geelong starting to look scary.

We have to do this though - we can't keep topping up.

We need to have some faith in our development.

Like Duryea - may take a little longer, but this kid has turned good!

Please let

it be the big man ;)

I don't know Dash. It would need to be at least a 3-way to get him in. Us and Tiges don't hold any picks outside first round or tis pick.
There aren't many pick swaps that would really suit the deal between Hawthorn, Tiges and Blues unless we give up both our firsts for McBean and one of Blues picks 20/21 ??

Collingwood especially. If they get their proverbial together, keep fit and if Howe finally proves to be the tall target that takes a bit of pressure of Cloke - the Pies are a bigger threat to the top 4 than Geelong for mine.

Best coaches in the competition. Still a list chock full of A-Graders. Frawley another year in the system.

Replacing some of the older blokes with fresh talent. I think we will go ok this year.

They would be scary if they had forward lines that could score and backlines that didn't leak.

You mean how Port won trade period last year and were scary good for a flag? ;)

We lost depth players who hardly got a game, our sub and two (awesome) old timers. Biggest loss is Lake. Reckon we have enough depth for the positions WX, Jed and Simpkin were fighting for.

Spang and Brand have a lot of pressure next year.

How many super fresh kids do we have? Not many. I don't want to fall off the cliff. Geelong are us next year or the year after. The last few years they have brought in kids. Great list management - that's why we are great rivals - we are both super smart clubs

They've had great trade periods.

But remember, they have a large gap to close. Top 4 is tough.

Starting to think maybe there is quiet a bit of discontent from the younger Hawk brigade about opportunities at senior level, so the Club has to give them a massive chance next year and promise game time, so can't really then go and recruit more young blood...see Jed, or Hallahan when JOR was recruited.
