I'd believe our track watchers over Ross fronting the media re: an injury any day. Walters in serious doubt.
Scham not to have a dig but in future could you do a bit more research before making such claims? I see you've retracted your comments after reading salims comments which you had previously missed. A lot of nervous people on here.

I think he'll play, however, not at 100%
There's probably very few players left in Finals that are at 100% so horses for courses. Walters has seemed to walk oddly during games so it has to be an ongoing thing with his hips that the club has been managing.

i remember seeing Sonny warm up for the PF in 2013. He could barely move, looked very proppy. Still came out and played after a jab.

Its a 50 - 60 kilo lift and walking with it, if he has any major ailment of his hips they sure as heck won't be letting him do overhead presses.

Feeling much better after looking at that pic. You'd think that would be the last exercise they'd do if he was injured in the hips/legs.

One of yep.

The lift itself although primarily targeting the delts puts a lot of strain on the quads, hips and lower abs.

Did Freo train last week, during their 'week off'?
They certainly trained last Friday and Ross was snarly as one report here indicates. Munday and Alex Pearce were doing running drills on the far side of the track with fitness guy. That hasn't appeared in any training reports and they were still doing that when the main squad finished at 11.00 am.

Not really a training session this morning. The AFL boys all came out of the Freo clubrooms and headed for the South Freo rooms with their yoga mats for a session of yoga.Griff was in that group.I asked Johnno if they would be out on the track and he said no, they had been broken up into three groups all doing different things and he was in the yoga group. Sonny was walking up and down the verandah part of the clubrooms with a damn great weight above his head.
You wouldn't think there was to much to worry about injury wise toting that around. The WAFL boys where out on the oval having a general muck around .Alex Pearce was running goal to goal,Mora was working his butt off .Luke came out and had a brief kick to kick with Roger Haydn.Hard to work out were he is at.
Balla,Cros and Mayne also had a kick to kick and general muck around as well.Huge amount of media there with the media out numbering the players about 3 to 1.

Trained apart from the main group Fri.Have not sighted him so far this week.Usually there are rumours if some ones in doubt but nothing at all about Mundy.

Mundy was completing run throughs over on the prison wing yesterday.
Was not involved in any of the ball transition drills. Can't recall seeing him kicking either. This was yesterday.
It is reported Fyfe and Crowley were jogging laps today. Good news in itself due to the fact that Fyfe hasn't been on the track since the Sydney game.

Is Fyfe right to play? Stress fracture sounds serious but Fyfe called it like shin splints. If he was a hawk I'd want him to play but know that he shouldn't. He hinted that even if he gets through the prelim he might not get up for the GF.
Also Walters. You need him to play too. Couple of jabs. All good.
