For me Kerridge is a lock. His 2013 numbers when he played 10 games were pretty good, with top scores of 118 and 126, so the kid can go big. Looked good in NAB 1 and would have gone well over 100 with normal game time at the rate he was going. Should get much more opportunity at Carlton as well. Im predicting he will make a decent amount of coin early on.

I have to admit, I shuffled around a couple of players to get him in. Still awkward price. At the moment Im risking it

Dangerfield two very impressive performances so far although and not having to be the major influence in the midfield may help. One thing I've just noticed about him though is that he has only had one fantasy score over 100 in the first 3 rounds in six years. May be an idea to pick him up later instead of having him as one of your starting premiums?

Anyone else beginning to get cold feet with starting Gazza?

I wouldn't touch him with a pole. If he dominates week 1, you can get him week 2.

After the time out, if he doesn't, your sitting pretty.

I personally can't see him pumping a 130.

Yeah I've just dropped him from my midfield in favour of Mitch Duncan. If he doesn't play the last nab game, he isn't getting back in. Just don't trust someone who hasn't played a preseason game. My current midfield is Lewis, Rocky, Adams, Duncan, Libba, Hunter, Mills and Macaffer. Anyone got any thoughts on that midfield?

Sounds solid to me, can't go wrong with those picks.

against the bombers round 1, i can see him pumping out a 150... that's the risk...and then be unavailable for round 2..
having said that T Adams is jostling for his spot in my team...

They will be the easiest (one of) teams to score against this year. If GC is 50+ points up, wouldn't you expect a player that missed the pre-season would be rested in the second half?

That is the other side of the coin against Essendon

good point - he might have 150 by then though...:)

I'm still looking at getting him into my team but he's on thin ice with his non-appearance. At the moment I'm wavering towards the premiums who've impressed in NAB and I may pick up Gaz later. Guys like Luke Parker, Steele Sidebottom and Jordan Lewis(though expensive) are on my radar. As a Port supporter generally most would expect me to be into Wines, Boak or Wingard. Apart from Boak, Sam Gray ($427K) has impressed the most and is a good FWD/MID choice. Wingard has not played yet and both Wines and Boak have played one trial, with only Boak impressing.

I might go for Hammer as a unique. Hopefully being VC, another injury free pre-season with more time in the midfield he'll increase/consistently score

Hadn't really thought about Hammer. He's one of those players who's not always regarded by his own due to what he should be more than what he is. At pick 4 he is the highest we have had.

Just on the Ablett discussion, does anyone know the formula for the first price adjustment ?

Thinking about giving him a miss, like a few others here. Would like an idea of a price adjustment to be prepared if he does go big

Break even is 105. If he gets 117, he will go up 6K.

You can do the maths around that

The Suns have Essendon, Carlton and Lions in three of their first four games (Fremantle is the other team they play however.) Surely he'd be able to maintain his price, even if he's not 100%.

Rocket seemed very confident in him playing Round 1 there is still that worry of him just playing mind games and being a late out before the game. If you keep him it's just a risk you've got to take but if it was a possibility at the time then I'm sure the media would be all over it.

Not starting with GAJ as I think if he does play he spend alot of time fwd. I reckon he'll average about 90-100 over the first 6 weeks as he builds match fitness.
So far my mids are Danger, Adams, Rocky, Parker, Libba, Mills, Menadue + 3 rookies and I'm very happy with that balance and scoring potential for rd. 1

Need a good, cheap mid starter that will get consistent game time. Already got Mills - he should be a lock for round 1. Are Menadue and Mathieson likely to play straight up? The other one is Lachie Weller but he doesn't seem to be a fantasy friendly player.
